I always thought the same man. People saying, "some imperfections/defects should be expected". Are you fkin kidding me ? I'm paying hundreds of dollars and I should expect a god damn perfect product ? Yeah right. -sigh-

I don't understand the Sideshow apologists either.

Well, there is a difference in saying they should be expected (which is true), and settling for them.

If there is something that bothers you about the piece you received, take some pics and send them in to Sideshow. The worst that can happen is they can't do anything. Best case, you get a partial refund or a replacement. It never hurts to send in pics.

Well, I was supposed to have this piece charged and shipped out on Weds and it still shows up as processing. Someone over at Statue Forum said they called and SSC told him they were inspecting the pieces before they ship them out and that's the reason for the delay. I can only hope that's the case. I don't mind the wait if I can get a decent looking statue. It's sucks because I know better than to hope for a great looking piece even if they are checked before shipping. It's sad and says a lot about SSC's QC when we are happy to receive just a decent looking piece after all of the issues this statue is having.

This guy filip...
I talked to SS this morning and they said that this guy was taking longer to ship as they were checking each piece before shipping.

Okay I have a quick, and probably controversial, question. When you walk up to the statue, can you see these imperfections just by looking at him from a reasonable viewing distance?

If you display it on the bottom shelf and looking downward yes you will notice it. Near @ swap gun and saw.

That's all I generally need to know. If you walk up, and from any angle can see the imperfection from a reasonable viewing distance then yeah I think you should try to get a replacement or your money back.

It's the guys who take out magnifying glasses to try and find things you otherwise wouldn't be able to see and then ask for a replacement that give me a bit of pause.

Yeah, I did make a couple of comments regarding the telescopic photography.

I Used my cellphone when I took that shot and the lighting is not even good.
