Actually you'd be surprised, I've used the same playlist for my workout for the past 7 months and haven't gotten bored with it.

Yea I can't do that, I'm a flipping mp3 machine from album to album... It's never the same mix, I feel different every time I'm in the gym.

I'm like a machine, I startup that play list and I get lost in the work, and I have specific songs for specific exercises because I find my workout syncing with them so I'm boring :lol

As for the iPod, when I get my new one, classic it will be, the Touch is neat, but the classic is about half the price and it's twice the memory, don't need the extras that come with touch, I just enjoy touch screen functionality but not for $200 :lol

I really like what Microsoft has done with the new Zune, I'd even switch except for that once my phone contract runs out I'll be getting an iPhone so it makes a separate mp3 player kinda useless.

Too bad they didn't put it into a phone.

Yep wait til you get specific songs per set. :lol I have my goto songs as well.

Loving the Zune, love that I don't have to use an interface to load up standard mp3's

I just noticed that the new nano's have a radio, can take pics and vids, and also have in a built in podometer. That's bad ass! I wants!

They always do things like this AFTER I buy it. :(

Welcome to electronics purchasing! :peace

For any of you looking to buy Apple products and don't regularly follow rumor sites (this iPod revamp and price cut has been known for a long while among the nuttier of us), check the Macrumors buyer's guide: https://buyersguide.macrumors.com/

It's by no means gospel, but it does a fairly good job of tracking product cycles and keeping you informed of the latest news on whatever product you're interested in.

I got the Classic 120Gb for that exact reason. I've had the 3rd gen Ipod (with the light up buttons) for ages now, 20Gb, and for ages now i've had to *choose* what music went on it. I couldn't fit it all on anymore.

I worked out recently and I had about 35Gb of music.

The touch models are REALLY appealing, but like yous said... not enough space, and way too expensive when compared to the Classic. It depends what you're after... a sexy gadget (which the touch most certianly is!!).... or a music player to have all of your music with you (and for a while to come... as I'm buying new music each month)

for me, the classic was the only way to go, and I don't regret it for a second. It's a great machine :)

64GB Touch, depending on the price, might be my route. Right now I'm looking at the 120 GB classic, I'm looking to get one where I can just load all my music at once and be done, I've had a 4GB mini for the past 4 years, it was a gift, and it's always drove me nuts having to change out what's on it and always picking the wrong stuff innevitably for the mood I'd be in that day.

The touch's look nice, but they've been to small in memory for me, 64GB might cut it though.

There isn't a version out there that apple currently makes that will fit my entire music collection (unless i want to compress the hell out of the music and make it unlistenable) but i have to say that the classic 120GB is the way to go if you want the most music on it.

You also want to import the music on the lossless setting so that you can still listen to your music through your stereo at a decent level and compress the songs still. I'll never get rid of my cd's or lp's because mp3's sound like crap.

Well, I've never had a need for an iPod since I have an iPhone. Best thing ever!!!! Got a 32GB iPhone 3Gs and it's freakin sweet..... I'm just waiting for the day that we can send picture messages!!!!! I hate having to do the whole website thing just to see a picture someone sent to you!!!!! :banghead
