Retarded. Sold out?!?
so wait, if I reserve one will I have to pay retail?! I tried reserving one, and it says "$699".....
Where is my GD white phone!?!?!?
Dude they reported a day or two in advance that they wouldn't be ready until later.
Finally said ____ it and went physically to AT&T which was a madhouse. The lady in front asked if we were there for iPhone and said that they'd only take Credit Cards, not debit or any other kind of payments and put a hold on for the entire balance.
...So we went to Best Buy, $50 deposit for each phone...
Seriously this is retarded.
And gay.

I cannot believe they required a deposit!?!?!?
They better be giving that to you on the 24th!
I went in to the ATT store at 4PM and preordered the new iPhone. It took about a half hour because the system was having problems. As we finished, the salesperson told me that I was actually the first person she had successfully ordered for today--all the rest had been manual orders because the system wasn't working until I got there. Nice timing, I guess.
And if I were AT&T I would want to suck up to potential new customers like myself. After all that's what this is ALL about for them right? Getting new business. I can understand Apple wanting to help existing customers out with upgrades. However, (and I'm sure this won't be a popular opinion) they should have told existing customers they are welcome to upgrade X amount of days after launch. It still would have been looked at as a good gesture on their part and would have I believe helped a lot of these issues. I wonder if they will release the stats of people that upgraded versus new sales?
The 4th day could have been reserved for Kabuki's white iphone!
