nah, just checked my status for the hell of it, and all is well :D

Awesome! I just got off the phone with them and it appears I'm getting two. They said there is nothing they can do. They said if they call my bank and try to back one out they won't know which one they are backing out. So I said fine I will pay for two and return one. However, I want them to sell the one I return to my sister who will be joining me at the store. So it is what it is I guess. At this point I would rather them not mess with anything because I KNOW something would get screwed up.

yeah, agreed, probably just better to leave things alone :lol

Almost a month after it's released. Honestly if that was me I would be all over the Droid 2 by then. No way would I want to wait another month for a new phone.

I've waited this long since I bought my 3g to get the next BIG upgrade I can wait a bit longer if I have too.

Edit: Just checked my CC and the charge for the 3 Iphones has been taken out. So all looks well. :rock

Wait you were charged for 3? :lol Seems I'm not the only one. :rotfl:hi5:

Apple now lists the iPhone 4 as shipping July 14, almost three weeks after launch day. Best Buy has suspended pre-ordering and has warned customers with a pre-order that they are not guaranteed an iPhone 4 on launch day. Instead, the pre-order will put them in a queue to receive their devices as soon as inventories are replenished after June 24.

Those expecting to wait in line for a while and leave the Apple or AT&T store with an iPhone 4 can think twice. Lines could be separated as they were for the iPhone 3GS launch, with pre-orders and pre-authorized customers receiving priority. Some have received emails with fine print stating that pre-authorization does not guarantee an iPhone 4 with your name on it. Chances are that inventories will be strained, to say the least.

Wal-Mart did not take pre-orders, however they are expected to have the iPhone 4 in stock on launch day. Radio Shack will also be selling the device. It's not clear how many units will be on hand at these retailers, but it's very clear that people trying to avoid the Apple and AT&T stores will swamp these two locations across the country. Pitching tents in the Wal-Mart parking lot may sound like a desperate move, but if you must have the iPhone 4 on June 24, options are running out.

Many customers who pre-ordered on Wednesday when they could finally get into the websites found that their shipping date was shifted to July 2. Apple and AT&T have received some flak for the pre-ordering failures, but it's clear that with record sales on the horizon Wall Street is thrilled and sales projections are being revised up. If you can live without an iPhone 4 next week it sounds like June 24 could be a good day to stay home and watch the chaos from afar.

Well I'm just wondering how long I'll be waiting in line for my resered unit :) the local Apple store here opens at 7am. I plan on getting there at 7, but I'm curious how long it'll take

A friend of mine was trying to reserve one too so that we could go together, but there was STILL ordering issues :dunno The person said just to come in and pick one up without reserving........ :cuckoo::cuckoo::cuckoo:

Here is the latest on the Best Buy front with this. When I Pre-Ordered, I got no confirmation check of eligibility or anything. She just checked how many they still had in stock and took my name down and phone number telling me that she'd call me by Thursday evening to set up an in person appointment to handle all the logistics. I received no call. So I called on Friday to follow up and was told I'd get a call back. Nothing.

So just as I was about to go down there to find out what was going on, I received a call telling me that Apple is now telling Best Buy that they aren't 100% sure on the allocations they'd receive. Since they oversold, now the amounts are being adjusted with a new ship date window of June 24th, June 27th and July 5th. They are having to stagger out pre-orders because according to the girl on the phone, Best Buy's launch shipments are being deverted elsewhere to handle the cluster____ in other venues. So I told her I ordered at 4 in the afternoon and she said I should be fine, that people who pre-ordered past 6 up until the next day would be reshuffled. She also asked if I ordered 32GB or 16GB, when I responded 32GB she said that I should be fine because the oversold units were all 16GB. She again warned me that she couldn't be sure until Monday when they'd get their final alottment totals and the calls would be made to tell people when they'd be getting their phones. It should be an interesting week next week.

Damn that is a mess. I got a call yesterday asking me to confirm my 32gb Iphone. Wanted to make sure everything was ok with the two 16gb and the lady said if I got a call back something was wrong. Never heard anything back so I guess its ok. Only odd thing was my Dad got two confirmation emails from AT&T one for my 32gb and one for a 16gb. So I'm not sure whats the deal with the other 16gb. So if there's an issue at all either my mom or sister may have to wait a bit. :lol

I ordered a 32GB from the ATT store and I was hoping that most people went for the 16GB and mine might not be delayed too long.

It's too bad there's a recession going on, or these $200-700 phones would have sold like hotcakes.

Is that a joke? They did sell like hotcakes. So much so that Apple is pulling phones from retailers like Best Buy to fulfill preorders taken by them and AT&T. LOL! Also note that while in this so called recession (brought on to you by the media) the video game industry thrived and sold more games and such then any other year. This so called "recession" is more government hyperbole and media fed.

If your sarcasm detector lit up whilst reading my post, don't worry--it's functioning correctly.

:lol I received a call from Best Buy about an hour ago that told me I was #19th in line for the 32GB and my wife was #20. I'm fairly sure I'll get mine on the 24th unless by a weird twist of fate they only are allocated 18 32GB on that day. For ____s and giggles I asked what number they were at for the 16GB and she said in the 200s and that she had to have someone else calling for those to help. It appears at least in my neck of the woods the 16GBs were the ones selling like hotcakes at least at Best Buy.
