I was keeping track of some of that...seems like some of the people on the west coast may get their phone today as most of them had notices "out for delivery".

Apple is clearly worried about the competition. In an unprecedented move, the company moved up the delivery date for some pre-ordered phones to this Wednesday, rather than Thursday as planned. Undoubtedly, it's a moved designed to steal some thunder from the Verizon / Motorola announcement -- which had been intentionally planned for the day before Apple's phone shipped.

Why would Apple worry? Well, there are more Android phone models available on more carriers and in more shapes and sizes than ever. Even AT&T offers Android models, like the HTC Aria, and companies such as Samsung and Dell will release nifty new Android models in the coming weeks.

LOL! From the guy that's been in line since last Wednesday.

Good morning everyone! Last night was the roughest night yet for me.

As I explained in the past, I have to wait until the early morning
hours, around 2:00 AM at the earliest until I can go to bed because of
the bars/clubs and having to deal with drunks and other crazies.

Last night I had just gone to bed a bit after 2:00 AM and was sleeping
for about 20 minutes. I was knocked out until all of a sudden someone
came by and kicked the tent hard enough to hit me in the head. There
was also someone else who drove by 10 minutes later and threw stuff at
me. I’m okay, but seriously? Even if you are drunk, thats still not an
excuse, or to give you a reason to be disrespectful.

The security was here, but the officer I had last night really wasn’t
doing his job. He mostly sat there in his car, lounged back in his
seat watching movies. He wasn’t really doing anything and didn’t even
try going after the guys that were causing trouble.

I told the staff at the Apple store about it this morning and they
were disappointed. They are going to contact the group they hired
from. Too bad this guy may have missed out on some really good hourly
pay for not doing his job.

He actually stopped posting on the macrumors site because people blasted him too much for his liking. There are some people that plan on taking their phones to his line and showing him what he has been waiting for tomorrow. How funny is that?

So me and the current girlfriend (and I'm sure the next girlfriend) use Blackberry messenger. For some reason everyone here has BB's. What is a good alternative to use with iphone?

Nice. I can't wait to get one. I think I might need to jump up to the 32GB phone now. I'm really impressed with the 38 hours without needing to be recharged. That's freaking awesome.

I could afford the 16, the 32 was a stretch. However, I decided go for the 32 so I could thank myself later. Lot's of ____ty meals I have eaten since that decision was made.

Hey its worth it so you don't have to upgrade again for another couple of years. This is how I get the GF to approve when I bought the 16GB 3G when it first came out. I'm not sure how many videos I'll be recording, but I'd rather have extra storage than not enough.

I definitely went 32 without question. With my 16GB I have about 2GBs of memory left and 90% of it is Pictures and iTunes video Digital Copy DLs. I can't imagine how fast it'd fill with a camcorder and iMovie capabilities if I went only 16GB. I was really hoping they'd just go 64GB on this one but I guess something has to be ready for next year.

Well, I've posted my 3Gs on craigslist for a few days now. Lots of responses, even selling mine (32GB) for $300 seems to attract lots of buyers..... And lots of scammers too

I went 32 as well. Sucks that some reviews have the screen being the biggest complaint. I guess I'll have to get a bumper and a screen protector sticker.
