Now, I didn't get that message, but my tracking number does indeed show that delivery is scheduled for tomorrow, the 23rd.

Excellent! Backing up my phone now and getting ready to put the new os on there.

For ____s and giggles was going to pus iOS4 on my 3G. Its been backing up since 11 PM last night and is still going. At this rate I'll have my new phone out of the box and ready to go by the time this finishes up.

I have had the os 4.0 running on my 3GS for almost 24hrs now. Seems pretty good.

Luckily, I caught your post and downloaded the new OS immediately. The wifey tried 10min later and it said 4hr wait time!

I can see tomorrow and Thursday going swimingly with everyone hitting up the Apple servers! I'll be lucky to have my iphone 4 up and running by next Monday!

I did it last night. The entire process (full Backup, Download, Install, and Activation) took less than an hour.

Works like a champ.

Most retailers around me seem to have received their iPhone 4 stock now. No white. Worse yet, no word from Apple on when the white phone will be available.

I'm getting ready today to put the new OS on my 3G. My Iphone 4 is still in process so I'd say I'm not getting it on Thursday which is ok. Need to back my current phone up anyway so I'm good to go whenever.
