Come Thursday, I'll just get a black one and stop worrying about it. I just really wanted a stormtrooper phone (white phone + black bumper)

I'm reading over on the macrumors forum that the Apple stores may have a small amount. However, good luck with that. I also heard of at least 1 walmart where a manager confirmed they have 2. However, walmart is not carrying the 32 gig versions at launch. Not sure if that's all true or not but thought I would share.

DL took like 30 seconds but I haven't backed up my phone for almost three months now and so that is taking forever. My wife has never backed up her phone since the last OS upgrade so I might just leave iOS4 off of hers.

Why would you not back up your phone at least once a month? If anything ever happened to your iPhone, you'd be screwed and lose tons of data, even apps.

^^^This. I back mine up once a week. I know this is excessive, but I like to ensure that everything will be back should I ever need to restore it. Same with my computer.

I don't think backing up once a week is excessive at all. Hell, it's an iPod too so some of us are always adding (or removing) music, movies, etc. And the more frequently you back up, the less time it takes.

Because I'm retarded. I never really gave it thought. I add music all the type but since I manually handle it and don't let iTunes handle it I always just ____ed around with it manually. In fact nothing is sync'd via iTunes except pictures to get them off of my HD to the phone itself so I never really bothered. I'm paying for it now.

Don't feel too bad. I don't back up that much either, as I was always on the go (until recently).
