It just hit me: Why not make GZ free, while the Extra Ops DLCs about $5 each? Granted, the sales would take a hit but that would have definitely have not caused an uproar but no, Conami had to bill us top dollar for this.

That makes perfect sense. The campaign's rather short, so if they offered it for free, but charged for the extra content, I think there would have been less protest against this.

I can't recall a single two-hour game on the PSN that costs in upwards of $20, $30, or even $40. To put it into perspective, Peace Walker was on sale for $9.99 a few weeks ago! And as we all know, PW features a lengthy campaign with a few hundred hours of bonus content. For $9.99, that's getting your money's worth!

I have to disagree with you on that Ryan. Why not make Skyrim a free game and charge only the side missions. Konami is a company and they can certainly make good money of this. The TLOU dlc was extremely short and not much replay value cost almost as much as you can buy this for.

I got 3 hours out of it, half the cost of GZ and an hour longer

And it's a apples and oranges comparison. Left Behind had love put into it, and it wasn't a milking cash in.

It certainly isn't a cash-in since it was announced yesterday (or a few days ago?), that it'll be the last chapter in the TLOU franchise.

I'd like to see Kojima say something like that about any of his games and actually stick to his word .

Ground zeroes is longer, the gameplay isn't on the same engine as any past games, I don't see how Left Behind is less of a cash in.

I'd have to say, nam is like the old man on the mountain - a true vestige of SSF. You might not always agree with him, but if he takes special attention to you, and puts you through tittybaby "boot camp" then you're doing something horribly wrong.

Nam's whipping boy? We argue non stop but every insult from him isn't personal and he insults everyone in there who doesn't agree with him. It's funny you bring that up because you are extremely timid in the movie section, it's pretty funny. Every time you explain your love for wolverine you have to follow it up with "oh I know he's overused" or some crap so you don't get attacked. I would love to see the big bad Plissken in this thread do some similar things in the movie section. The real Plissken isn't such a ***** haha

Timid is being honest? I can see the error in the ways of Marvel films, you can't for MGS so there

I actually like Henry now, and I never had a problem with Gasper.
