Daddy's got a new toy!

Just picked up a new lens AF-S NIKKOR 55-300mm 1:4.5-5.6

Bought it for my long distance shots but figured I try it on my collectibles as well.

I also bought a Romikon 8mm Fisheye Lens, but its not in yet. Can't wait to get that one in so I can take pictures of my Secret Room and of the Panoramic view outside the house

I made small adjustments to the photos like blurring the edges, cropping, and matte.​

Jimi is very sick indeed man it looks so awesome. Serang captured the emotion on his face soo well its frightening.

Yeah it seemed for a moment there the day would never arrive when I would have Jimi in-hand, but the wait was truly worth it.

I intend to go around the neighborhood this weekend and snap some photos of some very nice views. There's a castle nearby that will knock your socks off. Been waiting for the right time and the right lens to do it with. I'm not a photographer by no means, but its always fun to learn something new.

Also my fisheye lens will allows me to take some interesting shots around the older parts of Naples full of alley's in narrow passageways. Stay tuned and join my facebook page.

I hope not!

No, but really I already left one of the IKEA Lights too long sitting on top one of my glass shelfs and it snapped a piece of glass off. You can see it on one of the recent Mortimer pics I took in the upper left corner of the pic.

I received my Fisheye lens today so messed around with and took some shots outside from the balcony and of my "Secret Room"

Weather is not all that great so I touched the photos up a bit, but here are some I took from outside the balcony.

Have to play around with the settings some more. There is no autofocus on this lens.
