But hes just an unfaithful womaniser and has had some bad ideas about what is appropriate conduct towards women and obviously towards other women while married. Makes you shake your head and go " Arnie...." but theres far worse things than what he is.

Arnie is GREAT and always will be,in my eyes, no matter what you think of him as an actor or man, he has made some very very important sci-fi/fantasy films that will remain iconic!

I honestly don't care what these actors do in their freetime. I like their movies and don't care about their character. I can separate the two. Everyone makes mistakes so why would we like/dislike Dutch or the Terminator based on his actions?

Behavior on the order of what Arnold did doesn't matter enough, in my view, to affect my interest in collectibles of characters he played in various films. In general, I also tend to separate the personal from the fictional entertainment stuff. However. . .

What he did was much more heinous than what Arnold did, of course. And he was my favorite wrestler, but I can't even watch any of his matches anymore, even though he was portraying a character on TV. So, there are certain things a person can do that will affect my interest in or willingness to collect things related to that person.

Well I still enjoy the Lethal Weapons movies and would like a Max figure from The Road Warrior despite the fact that Mel Gibson is a drunk, anti-semite who threatened his ex wife. So yeah I still like Arnie movies and will continue to watch them. I could care less about what the man does in his personal time and since he's no longer Governor, what he does from here on out does not effect me personally. Now had he committed a heinous crime like murder, rape or worse, revised his role as Mr. Freeze in another Schumacher Batman movie then yeah I'd be done with him.

Would in no way effect whether I kept his figures or not. As mentioned by A-Dev...if he was a paedophile or found out to be a mass murderer...I would probably reconsider my stand on him in general and wouldn't feel comfortable owning stuff associated with him. I think in this case I am not surprised at all about what happened. Arnold has always been this way towards women and to tell you the truth I am shocked news like this is just now coming out about it. I am certain he has slept with more women than just this one.

In either case at least he is taking it like a man and accepting his responsibilities. Still a big fan of Arnies either way though I don't agree with how he chooses to live some aspects of his life, it could be much worse.

Yes, Arnold has always been this way & any long time fan would know this. Just watch the film "pumping iron" & you'll see his true character. He is a prankster & a womanizer but I know a lot of guys like that so it's no surprise to me. No one is perfect & we all make bad choices at times, but at least he's taking responsibility for his mistakes. No one likes seeing people we look up to or idolize make mistakes, after all Arnold is only human.

I think it's been said that the majority of people have been unfaithful at least once in their lifetime. Now, I'm not totally sure how much truth there is to that statement, but the only difference between Arnold and perhaps some of your closest friends is that Arnold's secrets are exposed. If you think about it, lots of people around us have gone through similar things to a certain degree, its just easier for non celebrities to keep these things a secret hence you never knew about them.

Coming back to the Benoit example, though, he murdered his wife and child and then himself. I think there is a line in the sand somewhere that he crossed. Same with OJ, if you believe he did the things he is accused of. Being an a-hole or sleeping around with women aren't gonna phase me much. That's just part of being a celebrity. But murder, or rape, or child molestation, or another really heinous act is another matter.

Only a few guys here MAY turn down some extra ____ So many average guys have womanised, so many girls have slept with more than one man? and these are celebs, people WANT to get into thir pants to 'go somewhere'... most of the 'people' whose likenesses is on the collectibles we buy are celebs. Are some guys gonna burn their KISS collectibles for their hedonistic/'immoral' ways... hell no. Honestly I dont think anyone is clean... all the celebs have had encounters... if they havent... they aint no celeb.

I enjoy the characters they create on screen....that's it....I don't eat dinner with these folk or watch football games with them. If the person is a convicted murderer? Then maybe I'd worry about somehow funding him.
