You captured him. I especially like that you made some justice on his favorite stomach "vacuum" thing

Very nice, even though those big muscles usually look disgusting. But I could never see myself having an almost naked Arnie in my house....my parents would think I'm homosexual or something...

sorry mate yeah forgot to say scale, the statue is 1/4 scale and stands about 19.5 inches tall without the base and about 22 inches with base, updated the first post with these details.

i have ahd a few fellas asking about some pics to show scale so here goes:

here is a pic of the statue as it is now approx 17.5 inches tall (previous was wrong), with a 12 inch ruler for scale.

please be aware though that the statue is getting scanned and printed out at 18.25 inches tall and therefore will be a lot taller and bigger all round width depth etc. this is because arnold was 6.2 feet tall which is 74 inches, 1/4 of that is 18.5 inches and after working out how much height he lost in this pose it was about an inch, which in 1/4 scale is 0.25 inches so the overall height should have been 18.25 inches tall and not my 17.5. doesnt sound a lot and i know i dont need to do it (even sideshow and bowen designs gets scale wrong sometime) but i want this thing perfect for the guys who buy it and also need to be very accurate for when i do more olympians so that they are comparable. also an increase of 1 inch in height would mean the whole statue would get a lot bigger and more impressive, and accurate.

at first ill be selling blank kits as i havent really painted anything like this before and would feel i could do a good enough job on it but maybe in the future i dont know.

i have had lots of contact with various painters though offering to do the painting for people

sorry for late reply pal didnt see this post.
the statues will be cast in polyurethane fast cast resin, really nice resin with a good quality weight and feel to it, same for the base as well

FINISHED!!!!!!!!!!

changes that have been made:
1. hair refined more and completed
2. change position of body slightly as found previous version to be too passive and leaning back to much...think the update is a lot better and makes it look like the pose is more aggressive and owned by arnie.... alot more accurate to actual arnie pose. may not see the diff in pics but trust me its better.

the statue is going to get scanned next week and printed out bigger, then casting can begin!

scanning is done, i cant believe how good its turned out havent lost any details, sorry for bad angles thewse are just some shots i have been given from europac3d, when i get the file tomorrow ill put some front on shot up.

glad you like it mate and dont worry you are one of the first because of the help you have given me, just finding out what the turnaround is with the printing and then i can cast, a bit delayed because of xmas but shouldnt be too long now sorry for the delays but i want this thing perfect or as perfect as i can get it for people, plus it sets the standard for the next ones
