Re: Art Books

That's my idea! :wink1:

Allison said they brought it up to Sideshow and they are keen on the idea! :yess: Hopefully it'll happen soon.

We'd need ALOT more comiquettes to fill a whole book with just Adam's work. Maybe in a few more years!

How awesome would it be if could have both Marvel and DC statues! :thud: I know it's not possible though. :( I will wait patiently for the Marvel comiquette book! :tap :D

Re: Art Books

We did get all 200 books we requested. One perk of being the author, I guess, even if it wasn't at wholesale. We have yet-unrevealed plans for the second 100 books. Once its done I'll post information and a photo!

Ooooh :) Is one book gonna come with something better/exclusive-er/premium-er than the other?

I don't know if its "better". The truth? Adam and I could not agree on what to do, so we split the edition so we could each do "our idea". Plus; it makes two smaller editions, which automatically makes them more collectible! Also, Adam's idea will be a little more expensive, so it gives collectors two different price points (three if you include the fact that Stuart Ng will have the regular 1st edition of he book at comic Con).

Re: Art Books

I don't think this was mentioned, but Jim Lee redrew his Icon book cover (it kinda sucks compared to the original imo)

Re: Art Books

I Got Cover Run last week. Love it, especialy the two covers with fun with reflections; WW flying at the pilot's goggles and Catwoman lifting the miror off the wall.
Adam refers in the book multiple times to 'inventory' covers, what are they? Sorry if that's a noob question, don't know much about comic terms.
Can anyone make out all of the little hidden message on page 77 ? Adam's banning people on pain of death from [something] his pictures.

An inventory cover is one done, and then put into a drawer at DC comics for use later one, when they suddenly have need of it.

I just went and looked at page 77. Now I have to wear contact lenses, so my vision is officially impaired. But my attention to details is pretty good and I read what I thought it said. I asked Adam, and he said I got it right, but that I can't spill the beans. Sorry. :wink1:

Re: Art Books

yeah amazon will probably carry it but paperback only

more art of capcom 2

That's awesome, but I might have to just order the paperback, $80 is a little too steep for a brand new book.

I might change my mind once I see it though, depending on the size and amount of pages.

Great, now I'm gonna have to go and take a look! :gah: :D

Ah, so that's why they're all just the heroes in a non plot specific type pose.

Gaah! It was just idle curiosity before but now I have to know.
