I know HT is an amazing company but if this gets released and it is as good as the pics shown, I can't see HT improving on it much. For 50 bucks less than what HT will charge, I am thrilled with this set.
I'm sure Hot Toys paint job would be much nicer, and the outfit would probably be of a higher quality. Having said that, I think I would be satisfied with this one, even if HT released their own.

I just pre-ordered one. For less than $100 it's low risk for me.

How good are these guys with staying on time, release date-wise?

Did they confirm that is the final hs? The only thing stopping me from buying is the sad Punisher expression.
I posted this elsewhere:

It's just Stevenson's "Mr. Negativity," gloom and doom facial expression he had throughout the movie, IMO.

I don't mind a doom and gloom displayed in the movie pic but the figure looks sad. Eyes and mouth give it a depressed look, tighten those up and it is decent enough.

I actually don't mind this expression. Does not bother me as much as the surprised look that Sideshow did on their Jedi Knight Luke.

If the figure is shipping in a month, the prototype pics might not even be a prototype. They might just be a of a production figure. Either way, I doubt the head changed at all.

I do have a custom Z head painted by Elvis for sell though :monkey3

IMO this figure looks awesome.
It's just a shame that HT hasn't made one yet.
I like the War Zone Punisher better too.
I hope HT is paying attention to this,I'd love to see them pull this off!
