The vest is by no means terrible but the stitching on the custom one I have from elvis thats made by BBI or Soldier Story or whatever looks alot cleaner.

The head I disagree on, I think its like Ray Stevenson if instead of a solid skull, his head was filled with jelly. Its all mismashed, especially from the side. Still thats an easy fix, get the newest one Amnur is working on and you'll still have a great Punisher.

Lets just hope HT still decides to do one. Im about $400 into my custom but would still welcome them doing an even better version.

Looks great to me. Near HT quality by the looks of it. HT would have done better on the head, but other than that, it looks fantastic. Best $90 I've spent in a long time in this hobby. Can't wait to get him!

While i still don't agree with you on the Art Figures head Deckard I do agree that Amnur's is superior. He really captures the intensity and Anger Ray exhibited through most of the film. I have his first sculpt and the 2nd is even better so it will be a must buy if I can get my hands on it. I think what bothers you on the Art Figure head is the jowls and such but that is what Ray's face looks like in a passive state, when he sets his jaw and really brings his frown down it hides it a lot but really watch the movie and look at his face any time he is relaxed.

I own Amnur and Z sculpts and Elvis was who made the vest with all the belts...just soon I get this figure I change some parts looks what happens and I can't wait for amnur last sculpt from this BAD BOY!!!;)

going to be tricky to make the Amnur's Punisher V.2 work with the Art Figures body though since it he is making it neckless, or do you plan to change out the body?

I figure it should not be too hard to get the skull on the Art Figures vest to look like this

little bit of paint and it will be good to go :) though I might brighten up the skull completely since I thought it was too faded in the film.

I think it looks fantastic, especially so considering he costs less than a hundred bones. I like the final product. The sculpt is great. In some angles the Stevenson likeness is muddled, but the paint work is acceptable with the eyes being very impressive.

Why don't any of those photos include a full body, fully armored shot?

maybe because they would be no different that the prototype pics or maybe they did it quickly and had not figured out how to attach all of the gear.

@sky_captain: OSB have just refunded my pre-order. They're not going to sell these figures anymore due to problems with the manufacturer (rubbish communication, from what i gather).

Shame really, but it's good of Waiman to put his customers first.

Yeah, mine was refunded as well.

I'm glad on one hand, in that OSB are looking out for us, but annoyed on the other, as it means having to find one on ebay at a higher price, etc.

That really seems like a DISservice rather than in your best interest since now you got screwed and have to find one for a higher price. They really should have asked before doing that to all of you guys.
