I actually really like the sculpt:

As I said before, the bridge of nose is too wide, and he's a bit too "sad" looking, but they were obviously sculpting Viggo.

Wonder how the nose would look dremelled narrower?

I think it's the giant forehead that bother's me most... still a very impressive figure especially for the price.

I'm kind of interested in getting it; but w/no other figures that would fit with that part of the film and already having 1 Aragorn I'm torn.

I wish I knew if they were planning on releasing more figures; I'd kill for just one baddie

I honestly don't think the forehead is that big. It's more straight than Viggo's which is uneven, but not much higher.

Oh, this guy's getting his very own shelf. :)

I'd be a happy man if I had room to give a figure his own shelf... but everybody has to share space in my collection :lol

Just ordered one, at $99 +shipping, it will look great boxed up next ot my other boxed up SS LOTR 1/6 figures. :)

Finally ordered ART Avenger too, that one seems to be starting to dry up at retail.

Who'd you order from?

I wanted to order both of mine from them and they wouldn't let me. Said there were 'insufficient supplies' or , 'one left' or whatever. So I ended up buying a second one from a different seller. As it turned out I actually ended up spending more after shipping that I would of buying both at the higher price point with combined shipping. :slap

Anyway, I guess I get to find out if Viking Playground or Monkey Depot ships faster.

Didn't realize BBTS had him. Definitely would have gone with them.

Seems that Viking Playground is the cheapest. Although, I don't know how shipping figures in here.

Available sellers I found:

https://www.vikingplayground.com/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=2842

https://www.monkeydepot.com/Boxed_Figure_Art_Figures_The_King_AF_007_p/fa0006.htm

https://www.monstersinmotion.com/cart/tv-movie-item-list-a-e-c-2_200/art-figures-the-king-p-17401

Can anyone recommend any other sellers?
I've had good success with Vikings Playground in the past.

Don't forget about Cotwold Collectibles!
https://www.gijoeelite.com/f_itemPart.asp?strPart=GIAF-007

they have some excellent service. I've ordered from them quite a few times. the only thing I hate is you don't know how much shipping will be until you go through the whole check out.

For Viking Playground:

Monkey Depot:

Ordered from them A LOT. excellent service and excellent CS when I had to return something. shipping to me can be pricey (to me anyways) sometimes especially when I'm just buying small pieces, but I guess it makes up for their most of the time cheaper parts vs Toy Anxiety. but you can see shipping before you go through checkout

I'm hoping Toy Anxiety puts this guy up b/c they're shipping is always the lowest I ever pay

Why didn't you mention BBTS then! :cuss

:lol
