Eh, we'll see. This wouldn't be the first time the language barrier has left something "lost in translation". We've still got two other licenses with Catwoman as a pretty central figure, so I'd find it hard to believe that they'd miss out on the potential income that an AC Catwoman would produce just because they don't like her.(?)

How about because they are freaking stupid then? How many licenses have they missed out on potential income because they never made character X or Y? LOTS. They don't seem to care one way or another about who is popular or requested. They just like Iron Man, Batman, Joker and Predators. That's it.

The amount of main characters skipped by them in favour of more of the same is ridiculous.

I realize this wasn't announced all that long ago, but I'm still surprised it's taken this long to get a preview of a "Batman" product...and impatient. I'd say this is my most anticipated upcoming Batman product besides the '89 mobile.

I was also really excited about MGS and sad to wait as long as we did for a preview, and even sadder when I realized...it's not the Solid Snake I want. Snake eater was a great game, but I prefer MGS2 Snake from Raiden's training mission in the beginning. That's the suit I want. Or an Old Snake from 4 with an extra head to look like the holographic camo he used in MGS4 to make himself look younger. I would have already bought the Medicom Old Snake, and Raiden...but their articulation leaves much to be desired. Anyways...this isn't really the thread lol.

In the interview, it said HT doesn't like the Catwoman character so they don't have a lot of interest in making one. Which made it sound like we only got the Hathaway Catwoman because it was from TDKR and that has been a faithful cash cow for HT. Arkham has yet to prove itself. As it stands, it made it sound like Batman, Harley, and therefore Joker were the 3 figures they are planning on currently.

But that is not what they said either. They said that they had three figures planned, but Harley in addition is one they could not promise. No word on the Joker, but that is pretty much a shoe-in. That means one planned figure is still a mystery.

The third figure is 'random generic goon'.
The idea is to buy 10 of them and then you can setup a group fight like you see in the game

I've got this gut feeling that we'll get a September reveal. Then again, I thought it was going to be "tomorrow" 6 months ago. Ah, well, it'll get here when it gets here. It's not like I don't have any other figures on the way.

It's not definite. Just not likely based on what they've said and their past record with not making top choice characters for their licenses.

By taking on this license,if Hot Toys doesn't produce more than 4 figures,I believe it to be a major fail on their part....AC has to many characters that would look good in 1/6,and would sell very well I think.

I'm dreaming of the day when I wake up and see official pics of this guy. I will be fulfilled. Here's hoping that one day, in the coming weeks, HT will just randomly throw him up like they did Wolverine. Bonus points for The Joker same day.

Nah, $225-$250 would be my estimate for Batman. $200 -$220 for Joker.
