Re: Hot Toys VGM Series Batman: Arkham City - Batman Collectible Figure NOT REVEALED

No-no-no-no, anithing but Wayne head. I don't want to pay for such a pointless yet expensive "accessory".

Re: Hot Toys VGM Series Batman: Arkham City - Batman Collectible Figure NOT REVEALED

It wouldn't be pointless to me as i'd love to have a crack at making beat up wayne from the beginning of the game.

Re: Hot Toys VGM Series Batman: Arkham City - Batman Collectible Figure NOT REVEALED

It'd be an ok exclusive piece but there's no room for it in the regular release.

Re: Hot Toys VGM Series Batman: Arkham City - Batman Collectible Figure NOT REVEALED

A Wayne sculpt would look weird for this figure, and personally, I doubt that I'd even make use of one. Hot Toys doesn't have a good track record when creating sculpts that are based off animated characters (just take the MGS figures, for example) - they end up looking horrendous.

Re: Hot Toys VGM Series Batman: Arkham City - Batman Collectible Figure NOT REVEALED

I would LOVE a detective mode sculpt like the dx02.:pray:An angry face should be in the set as he had an angry face for most of the game when he was fighting people.I know we have been waiting long and hopefully we won't have to wait much longer for a reveal but i think these Arkham hot toys will look fantastic when they are shown.

What do you guys think the chances are of us knowing what these things look like, in all their glory, two weeks from now?

More like less than a week from now. I think I read somewhere these were going to be premiered at SDCC.

Man, I hope so. The wait for these figures have been too long. I'd like to at least see how they look like.

Re: Hot Toys VGM Series Batman: Arkham City - Batman Collectible Figure NOT REVEALED

Yeah, when HT's 66 Batman teaser said that they were launching a "number" of prototypes at SDCC, that got me curious. I like the fact that it seems like they're getting more and more friendly with SDCC. It seems like, while there were a couple of surprises over the years, it was mainly, "hey, here are a couple of new things, and a bunch of our already announced prototypes while we save the good stuff for Ani-Com." I guess that's one of the good things about having all of your **** get backed up. Once it's all ready, you can unload it on the world, and still have enough left over for Ani-Com. I know there will be a lot of happy batfans if we see 66 and AC alone, but it'd be nice to see a few other things like a Superman figure or two (from both series), and, dare I say, maybe a few Nolan Batman things.

Agreed. No Wayne head please, considering how MGS turned out. (Look at Snake's hair:slap )

Re: Hot Toys VGM Series Batman: Arkham City - Batman Collectible Figure NOT REVEALED

The only way I could get onboard with a Wayne head is if this line became successful enough for HT to release one in his suit with his button and shackles. Other than that, Arkham Bats was never unmasked, therefore, a BW head wouldn't make much sense. I'd much prefer interchangeable faces.

:exactly: I love in the first Arkham game you never got to see Bruce Wayne. It really adds a lot to the feel of the game at that time. Arkham is more about Batman than Bruce Wayne so instead of the head why not all his gadgets like the DX08! :yess:

Re: Hot Toys VGM Series Batman: Arkham City - Batman Collectible Figure NOT REVEALED

Snakes head is fine :dunno

As much as I'd like it to be, it's not. The head is based off the Naked Sample demo and even then they got the hair wrong. It's not based off the PS2 game which Medicom did a better job.

Re: Hot Toys VGM Series Batman: Arkham City - Batman Collectible Figure NOT REVEALED

I don't particularly care what he comes with, I just want him and Joker displayed at SDCC so I know they exist and will be up for pre-order soon (hopefully). These are 2 of my favorite characters designed to look like their comic book counterparts and the 18 month wait since Bats was announced has felt much longer due to there be absolutely NO updates about him.

Re: Hot Toys VGM Series Batman: Arkham City - Batman Collectible Figure NOT REVEALED

Possibly. They said that there are still figures from several licenses that will be on display at Comic-Con. If not, next week'll be here soon, and, with any luck, Bats and Joker'll be there, if not at SDCC. How cool would it be, though, if they had Batman and Joker on display with a placard in between them that said "Batman: Arkham Origins: Coming Soon?"

Hopefully they show this they keep teasing more ironman.
