Not sure if this is proof of it being an ED2 shot. But I am sure it is from ED2.

I couldn't make it to the screening of The Holy Mountain, but I assume it was on par. These are the prints that will be used for the DVD and HD releases, and they're pure joy.

RoboDad said:I'm not sure I see the relevance of the ED2/AoD comments. AoD begins right where ED2 left off (mostly), and both the chainsaw hand and the boomstick figure just as prominently in AoD as they did in ED2.
And, he does strike almost the exact same pose during the boomstick scene of AoD. It just isn't shown in a full camera shot on screen. So it works fine for me.
I also agree that he really needs to be dirtied up. I hope I don't have to take him out in the yard and roll him in the mud myself.
Why does everyone complain that the PF is skinny, when all the movie stills are even skinnier?
It's funny to watch the first two movies and see how young and skinny Bruce was back then.JAWS said:My point was that it is referenced from ED2 and while I have no complaint there, I wanted to point out that Bruce/Ash was skinnier in ED2. Thus th PF was correctly done. For AOD he put on some muscle mass. As I already stated "while I like ED2 best. Bruce looked best in AOD, so a tad more mass please."
RENTED??!?BDboystoys said:Just rented The Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness.
Gonna be a fun night.:chew

I gotta wonder looking at those 2 shots if anyone at sideshow did the same thing and thought to themselves..."They're gonna cream us on the boards over this." I know I would have. I think I could maybe even get over the giraffe neck if he didn't look like he was going to fall over. So bummed out!
This is very true!RoboDad said:RENTED??!?
You don't RENT these movies. You OWN them. (And, if you're an OCD fan like me, you own multiple versions of each )

DouglasMcc said:While I can understand your problem with the lean, there is no "giraffe" neck. Look at the flash comparison you posted. That's EXACTLY how Ash's neck looks in the movie still. You can't blame Sideshow for reproducing Bruce's actual physique.
JAWS said:Not that it matters but is this not a publicity shot from Evil Dead 2??
I mean it was the end of EDII were we see that the castle is up on the hill behind Ash. In AOD the castle was not in the same area that Ash landed.
I was thinking this because in all the shots that everyone has been posting I thought to myself that Bruce looked a tad skinny. He got into much better physical shape for AOD.
It is not from the bomstick speech. I am sure of that much.
So I guess my point is that I hope he gets a bit more mass.
