^^^ Thanks for the honest update Asmus. It ain't your fault, just the nature of the world these days unfortunately.

Also side note, there are 4 of these left in stock on Asmus' website so if any of you have been on the fence with this figure (for some reason :wink1:) better jump on it now because this could very well be one of your last chances.

Well, I ended up following the thread's advice and preordered Gandalf through Asmus directly. Hopefully I can find someone who wants to buy my V1.

Good luck...best time to sell that one was the day before this one was announced.

Looks great. If I had one tweak, I think the eyebrows need either some paint tweaks OR need to have some brusiness glued on. But that's a minor thing, if need be even.

We have come this far, so I'm ok with waiting a few weeks. I'm actually hoping we do get a Crown Aragorn/Strider with the rooted hair treatment that would be a awesome as can be especially with how far Asmus has come.

hi guys,
just let you know the Chinese New Year + Covid-19 situation is slowing things down at moment,
our shipment is delayed, and we may only be able to send 1/3 of the orders due to custom restriction because of the Covid-19,
we expect to send them all out by 20th Feb (Online orders)

Really sorry about his, but days are complicate, and looks are it ain't slowing down yet.

Totally understand. Feb 20th is not that far away.

Looks like the eyes have the same issue as the HT Indiana Jones.

It works on figures like Jack Sparrow or Batman, that have black makeup around the eyes, but just the thickness of the eyelid, being able to hold that separate eyeball in place, creates too much black around the eyes.

In fairness though, that's how the initial promo pics looked, so in terms of proto to production, it looks pretty good. I imagine on the shelf with proper lighting/shadow, it will look good.

Though I wish people would take pictures trying to make the figure look good instead of sticking their camera looking up the figure's nose.

People are starting to get their invoices. I am not one of them. Order from Asmus on June 26 2019. Good luck everyone.
