Just purchased Mouth of Sauron and Nazgul with Steed from BBTS and they should arrive in a little over a week. I'll futz with them a bit and then post some pictures of them - they should look great together!

Wow -- only 500. I have a feeling this will be one of those highly sought after pieces down the line. It's a character you'll likely never see again in 1/6th like this.

It was actually that last comment that inspired me to pull the trigger on the Mouth, Wor-Gar. And thank goodness - handily one of the top figures of the year right here. Grateful to you! Speaking of which, bingeing on Lord of the Rings is a bit of a Thanksgiving tradition around here and I plan on spending the holiday weekend doing just that while weathering + modding this guy to Mordor and back. Excited to share pics with all 500 of us ducks Happy T-Day, Freaks!

I must be losing it. Totally forgot. I even keep a running record of the edition sizes and didn't jot it down for Mouth, that's why I asked... again.

Thanks for the confirmation. And cheers on your pick-up. Easily one of Asmus BEST figures! Can't wait for the pics! I have to get to mine as well, but I'm still digging myself out of a recent move. Haven't even got my display cases up and running yet.

Timewalkertoys has him up for $270, so I finally picked him up. Really seems like he turned out amazing, so can't wait to get him in hand.

Had a fun afternoon going to town on the Mouth's steed today. There is a lot of fabric on this thing to break down! I wanted it to look like the bottom edge of it was caked with dried blood for some reason The color is much more bloodish in person. Added some real chainmail, matted down the tail and when I looked at the scene I noticed there's a shot where the poor thing has some kind of mangey, festering wound on it's rump so I threw that on there too.











Can't wait to get to work on the Mouth himself! Just waiting on some replacement pants to come in - not really into the jersey fabric that came stock, although I get why they went with something stretchy.
