Based on the past I would guess that bbts gets it 2 months after the release in Asia so right now I would not expect it until the end of January at the earliest.

I agree. Not having Eowyn and the Nazgul ship in the holiday season helps out a lot financially. Plus the kids get really upset when they see boxes arrive in December only to find out it is for Dad and not them. After last year with castle greyskull they might not believe the label anymore and would have been even more bummed out.

So if the world follows its regular course, BBTS will get this in about a month. No way this will be in my hand for Christmas. Looks like first figure of the year 2015. Not a bad way to start it.

I worry about the flocking still. I've had flocked items and over time it doesn't hold up. Granted that's been awhile and maybe there have been improvements on the process, but it's still a worry.

Well, the good thing is underneath it all, the horse is fully sculpted and once all removed, you can re-paint it and it will still look awesome.
