Are the armor plates on it's head removable? I'm thinking of using the horse for a different look w/ the red eyes but without all that gear.

I'm sure you can remove it , if you wish. I plan on customizing mine, weathering , and changing the black cloth on the Nazgul for something more movie-accurate ,

It's almost impossible for me to tell whether it's good or bad. LOL. The angle/lighting doesn't reveal much.

Yeah, it's awful lighting. Brings out every frayed thread and the seam on the head. I don't know why they decided to post it on their fb page though.

I actually love it! It looks weathered, old, and rough as it should! That seam is all that really bothers me.

The Witch King suffered from the same issues. Out of the box , it doesn't look too good, but I assume it can be easily fixed as well, with some baths, fuzzing , and maybe some customizing. I'm perfectly satisfied with my Witch King right now. It definetely needs a bit of care in order to look great.

Agreed, when looking at the shot it immediately evokes the evil presence of the Ringwraiths to me. The seam is also the only thing bothering me, but as Seb showed with his custom, making a new hood yourself without a seam should be possible.

There are other pics on Facebook.

Great pics !! Thank you for posting . As much as I'm digging this ? I might have pass on this . It's gonna be tuff though !

Well, I'm hoping that's a hot flash. Otherwise the steed looks like its going to need a lot of work to make it look like the prototype.

Really miss that fuzzy mane...

Wow, overall I'm really liking this. Can't wait to see more pics.

It looks nice, still not nearly as weathered as the prototype. Will definitely need some custom work

Those poses for the horse look weird, but the total package is impressive. I've always found mounted figures to be quite striking due to their size.

So far in my opinion the Witch King, Gothmog, Gurtiz and Gandalf have all looked better in hand than most of the Facebook in hand pics that they post so I am not too worried. My guess is when I see it in person it will be somewhere in between the promo pics and those in hand pics.
