I know we shouldnt have to do it, but its a great first attempt, just waiting to see how the human figures turn out - and praying for a Lurtz!!!!

This is a reply I got from Asmus.

"Hi Scott,

Thank you for writing to us. We've heart all the complaints and please accept our sincere apology for being annoyed.

We take this problem seriously, so we have addressed it to our contractor KB who provided the body part this time. We are now together working on solutions, and should get improved for our next product.

Still we thank you and all our buyers for your great support, and your advice is always valuable and important to us as always.

Best regards,
Nomsfor"

Guess it doesn't help too much. Looks like we will have to live with the problem on this figure and they will address it on later figures.

That looks really cool. It'll be cool to do that Iconic pose with his arms outstretched. Can you do it if you don't do this with the joints?

:exactly: i never thought I'd wish a figure I pre-ordered to have them knees, but I do now. Electrical tapes don't stay put specially in a humid country like mine.

Yeah, he gets super humid here in the summer too. Luckily, I can keep the room cool with a/c. However, it would suck if it was year round cause It would be expensive to be running the a/c all the time.

Tell me about it. Living in a tropical country, we can experience humidity for 8 straight months. 4 of them at extreme levels, thus the need to provide additional care for my collection. That's why I feel off about the electrical tape solution. Even unsused rolls of them here can get gooey with its own adhesive if stocked for long.

That's a shame. You'd think that most of these companies being based in warmer climates would have figured that out.

I couldnt do it with mine without the screws, still struggle as I need some better wrist pegs also, but the screws make a big difference!!

So...can you give a little write-up/tutorial for others that may want to do this? Also...would this be possible with the hip joints?

Basically I undressed the top half, and pulled both arms off, then just pulled off the rubber chest piece, I removed the screw on each side holding the shoulder socket to the body and replaced with a larger screw. Then I put a screw right in the centre of the shoulder joint to stiffen it up, note there was no screw there so is very important you get it in the middle otherwise you will loose all movement. Then just pop the rubber chest back on and push the arms back into the socket. I dont know if I would work with any other joints, it does make them very stiff - there is still a problem with the wrists not taking the strain, and in some poses the torso is very flimsy and just flops.

Overall it helps, but I am considering whether a body swap is the best move, as can only achieve standing poses really on this one. any ideas what body might work???

Just recieved mine.
The mace wasnt packed properly and some of the spikes have pierced the front of the box.
The non flaming sword is not straight, wondering if i should attempt to fix it??
Havent taken out for full inspection yet....

it's annoying, though highly unsurprising, that this fella doesn't fit in a detolf. It is awesome though

He doesn't fit? What the heck, that would mean he is atleast 40 cm tall. I thought he was just a tad higher than Vaders' 34 cm.

Come on. If you were assuming that measurement followed the witchking's measurements from his toes to the top of his crown that would have made him hobbit sized. :lol
