So I finally took him out of the box and set him up. First with the good. He's one impressive figure to look at. That's for sure. I love the detail. He's also bigger than everyone else as the WK should be...
Now, to the things that bugged me. I feel there's too much fabric, or it's too bulky. I think I know now what people meant when they wanted to do something with water to the fabric. Also, this....
It's not just there, but a few other places, and it's getting caught on stuff very easily and undoing the fabric.
While I love the metal Helmet, armor, and weapons if the body can't support them, there's no use. The hands have trouble holding the mace and sword. The Mace even pulled the hand off it's peg. That brings me to my final gripe. The hands were way too difficult to change. The armor on the arms keeps getting in the way. I couldn't find a good place to put my other hand to hold the arm steady to get the hand on it's peg. It didn't go on easy at all. I was worried I was going to break something, and the elbow thing on his gauntlet popped off, but luckily it snapped back into place.
So It's an impressive to look at. I just got a little frustrated setting him up. He's probably going to be a figure I don't mess with that much after finding a pose I like. I'll probably get Gothmog. cause I've always wanted a gothmog figure, but I'm really hoping Asmus learns from their mistakes cause they have some very cool ideas.
P.S Also, the hands with finger articulation seem like they could break easily so just be gentle with them.
