Agree robbie. Good post. This guys needs care, patience, and posing skills when being set up. It's what separates this figure from being an absolute stand out 1/6 high end piece to being a disaster.

Looking forward to your pics.

I found this guy to be a pretty sturdy piece, easy to pose and the care needed is to not take an eye out while near it

That has been my experience so far. I still plan on futzing with it some more to get the look I want but I mainly am a person that takes the figures right out of the box and poses them without futzing around with it unless it is easy to do.

Mine has held his pose for over 24 hours and the sword hand is straight up in the air (it is using the lighter fire sword right now. kids liked that one better). He has been using the stand though so I can't comment on the ankles.

Just a quick one.

Its real easy. Get him completely soak and form the cloth the way you want. Then walk away. I did mine last night so it has all night to dry. You want it to dry naturally.

You could do it either way but I kept his head on.

Hey Robbie looks good. One suggestion is to try to run the thin, ragged, long strands that are on the front up through the bottom of his helm or at least near it bc that's how it was in the movie.

Kinda can see how it is hear

Got mine yesterday... and have to say it's was not a fun unboxing. A piece of armor broke (easily fixable though), the arms are pretty short making getting the hands on and off difficult and the body is really loose... no way mine is able to hold up the sword or mace w/o some major work or a body swap.

Other aspects are very nice, but I was fairly annoyed after the armor broke so I just put him back in the box for now. I think I'll end up being happy with this one, it just needs more work than it should upon opening.

Oh, and don't care for the poseable hands. A nice idea, but the look pretty bad in person and will stay in the box :lol

Mine comes tomorrow. I imagine I'll be stripping the figure all the way down and resetting everything/water treating.

I wonder if the SS Vader body would work for this?

Thanks marker2037.
I haven't spent much time with it. Just messing about. I was going to check photo references when I get done. I dont like the body so I may do a switch but if not, Im at least going to extend the torso. Looks stumpy to me. Which is weird seeings as you cant see the torso but still.
I also left the helmet on with the water treatment.

If anybody does strip down the figure to the base body, would you mind posting a comparison pic between the Witch King body and other "standard" bodies so we can see a side-by-side comparison? I heard that the base body is just a normal Kaustic Plastik body with ankle extensions, but he seems much taller than the other figures.

My order is processing from BBTS! :yess: If it ships by tomorrow, I should have it Mon or Tues.

I can't wait to get to get to work on this bad boy, so much potential.:rock

Just got notice from BBTS as well! I am excited for this one. I have no intentions of doing heavy modifications on it.... just futzing and displaying. I am not entirely sure where his on display home will be yet.

BBTS is processing mine too, can't wait until he's here. He'll sit on my desk until I go to ikea and pick up the tv stand he'll live on, since he's too big for inside a detolf and detolf tops have a clone army already

I had to reread the bbts pile of loot rule's and orders must be paid 10 days later after arrive's. I with deep sorrow had to cancel. It feels like i'm inches away from this grail and i must let him go...Just like indys last crusade either let go or fall to my death in debt. I love my star wars too much to cancel my other order's so will have to admire from afar....If can pick up later i will but for now congrats guys on this BAD A$$.

BBTS has over 100 in stock. It will probably take them at least a month, probably more to moved them all.

Arrrgh! I hate having to work on a piece. I'm a pull it out, pose, display, and leave it alone guy with the available time and commitment of a gnat. That said arrgh again. The photos look very cool and so I've got to give it a shot.

Asmus has been pretty quiet as of late, so I really hope this isn't a one or two and done line. In which case I should just stay with the PFs and accept that the dream 1:6 LotR line might remain just that.

Hi guys I'm sorry I am noob to these toys, to have this figure water treated you have to soak the whole figure itself the head, armor, body or you have to take the clothes off and wet it?
