Are all the bodies loose or is it sort of a roll of the dice? It's the one thing that's holding me back.

I don't think it's a question of are all the bodies loose but how loose is the one I'm going to get going to be. I'm loving this line and hope it's a huge success. With that said, mine is so loose that the arms will not stay up at the sides emtpy handed let alone holding anything. I think I remedied it but have not undertaken of putting him back together.

It's not very loose thanks to the tape over the joints :lol

Are you interested in Gothmog? They said they would issue replacement bodies with him for the witch king. I don't have my figure in extreme poses, so the joints don't bug me at all.

Don't want to misquote them but I think they retracted that. Something about the adapted body won't be ready in time.:(

Hm, that's a bummer. I picked him up anyway for $155. So what did you do to remedy it? Has anyone come up with a solution for the weak joints. It doesn't sound like the super glue trick would work here.

Gothmog looks awesome but I don't know if ill be able to pick him up with with the few 'must haves' that are coming out this year. Now what's this about tape over the joints?

The shoulder ball has a pin on it. The shoulder joint is like a split coupling with if I recall 2 small screws to tighten the coupling on the shoulder pin. Where the shoulder ball meets the coupling IIRC it like a ball and socket joint. Plastic against plastic. I took a small square of rubber, maybe .05 thick and put a hole through the center of it. I slipped that over the shoulder pin. Jam the shoulder pin back into the coupling pretty hard and retighten the screws. This gave a decent amount of resistance between the 2 plastic joints. It remains to be seen though whether I can redress the figure without the joint slipping.

Hm, ill have to take a look when I get the figure in hand. Doesn't sound to difficult. Where did you get the rubber?

From the vending machine of the bathroom at the local bar.... Just kidding. I cut a strip from the anti-slide mats we have in the drawers in the kitchen. Worked pretty well. Just hope the wife unit doesn't find out.

Ok, cool. I think I have an idea of what to use. I will probably PM you later next week if you don't to make sure I'm on the right track, if b you don't mind. He should be here Monday.

The body on mine isn't too loose. He can't hold the mace off the ground, but I don't know that any 1/6 body could, given the weight of it. I don't notice the looseness at all, but I"m not trying to pose him without the stand either.

Inevitably the accessories are heavy, especially the mace. It was pretty much unavoidable to make this one light weight.

Just received him. Christ...
This will probably be the most challenging futzing I'll ever do. I had him out of the box for 5 minutes and put him back knowing I'll have to clear time later to mess around with him. Dont have the time at the moment. First thoughts, I dig the helm and ratty robes. The armor on his boot popped off so I'll have to reglue that, no biggie. Need more time with him to really know how I feel. One thing was a turn off, the cloth sticking out of the helm and the exposed neck. It feels like there may be a bunch of cloth stuffed up in the helm. Did you guys undo the cloth in the back a bit to hide the neck? The thing is I don't want to do that and have even more cloth hanging out the front of his mask. Ill think I'll remove the helm and see what's going on under there. Probably not till this weekend though.
