I'm quite sad, coz I was in this tour.

That's sick!
You just take first 100 and send them an invoices. In 3 days you cancel unpaid ones and moving forward in this 400 list.
What's the deal with setting up all those contest staff if everything is about getting as many people paid as it possible?

Saw that too. Odd that they'd go through all this work of making the figure before talking with Ubisoft.

They also had this to say:

"I dont think any one would be naive enough of not being in contact with the company prior to release such stuff! So whoever contacting anyone, please let them do their duty I am sure we will make all of our fans, our customers and the company Proud!"

Got to respect the gall of a tiny start up first producing unlicensed figures at a decently high quality and then essentially trying to hold a large cashed up company like Ubisoft to ransom by getting them to sign a license agreement for figures you have no intention of cancelling

I don't see why it'd be a bad thing. They've already put in a bunch of their own money for R&D, if they are trying to be legit, Ubi might as well just say what the hell and cut in on the profits.

Got my order confirmation email. But don't know if I qualify for the bonus item yet. Order # is not in the top 100, so maybe not. But if 30+ peeps who entered the contest don't order, then does that mean I get to be in the top 100?

I guess I'll see if Fire Figures replies to my email.

I'm pretty sure they did not go by the emails because a guy on facebook "Jay" sent an email in on the 8th and got a flying machine invoice confirmation. I sent my email in on the 7th but didn't get home from work until 7pm last night to order --and I didn't receive a flying machine confirmation. Bummer. Cancelled (got refunded really quick). I'll order again when they ship and everything is secure.

Yap, that was smart and dishonourable move. There was no need to get into this contest to get into first 100, you've got just to pay right away. Nice move to get money ASAP, but very lame way to work with the community. And it's very weird to open those 100%-pre-pay pre-orders at the end of the month when people awaits for their upcoming wages.
But again, they really care only about our funds, not about our entertainment or comfort. Quite lame.

In this case I even like the ThreeA exclusive drops system, at least it works only based on time. And since you have the membership and your computer at the right time - you'll get for sure.
