I definitely think it can be milked out, especially when they originally stressed that it quite literally wouldn't be, and that it was only to be a trilogy! We're already at 4 games now...
Don't get me wrong, I love it... but it can be worn out

So happy that I already paid off the pre-order for this and got the upgrade to Collector's. Besides upgrading the game play each game, the story keeps me coming back and wanting more. If that E3 trailer doesn't get AC fans giddy, then I don't know what to tell you.

Older Ezio>

Wow, great trailer! Collectors edition has no statue? I need a 3rd one to go with my other two! Must be a separate purchase like the brotherhood one. I am pumped!

Although it looks good one thing that bothers me in this and in Tomb Raider is a sense of injury or fatigue.

MGS4 showed a good level of fatigue throughout the game playing as OLD Snake, it really drew you into the fact that he was weaker.

Ezio should move relativley the same but we should hear his breathe and have animations that show his age, like when jumping, he should take a few more second the hoist himself up, when rolling take a moment to compose himself, it gives the character more depth and if done right wont slow the gameplay down.

Same with Tomb Raider, Lara was holding her side in pain and moving jaggedly but when it came to jumping it was like she was an olympic class athlete without any evidence of injury, fractured bones and so forth

I have to honestly say this is a bad idea. While realistic it kinda hinders with the flow of the gameplay greatly. It works in MGS because the gameplay is slower and stealth is still the better way to play the game. You are rarely in situations where a split second delay might result in a game over situation.

With games like AC where timing is actually an important element in the fighting and free running sequence, adding this 'aging' element to the game will effectively kill the franchise.

They did the same in RE games where you can barely walk when you are seriously injured and while it's very thrilling when you are surrounded it is also extremely frustrating because you are as good as death in that situation unless your partner manage to get to you on time.

Way too excited after seeing this! Along with Skyrim and Arkham City, this is my game of the year.

This is on my list of games for Pre-Order. The first game was a bit blah but the last two have made this series overall one of my faves.

:exactly:
The last two are two of my favorite games of last decade.

I've had this, Dark Souls, Skyrim and Arkham City already paid off for the last few months. Couldn't pass up the free upgrade to the signature edition.

How about the Collector's Edition....The one for Brotherhood was WAAAAAY overrated, so I'm not sure I'm going to get this one....
