Its all good. A child is a bit more important.

Yep! It's crazy though. Even watching a TV show can be maddening. I can't tell you how many times I've had to restart American Horror episodes. I pause, rewind, fast forward, then I"m lost and have to start it all over. :lol Then when I start over I have to clean puke off me or something.

But she is fantastic. It's amazing how much love I had in me that I didn't know was there. :love

I really love the story in Assassins Creed Games. Love the whole conspiracy end of the world uneasy feeling it has. It gets you thinking. It's the only thing that keeps me playing really as I find the gameplay frustrating at times. Really frustrating!

I've been playing Brotherhood all this week in an attempt to finish it, the last time I played it I just got bored midway through. I am really looking forward to Revelations so I need to finish it! Though MW3 is going to take up all my time :lol

Bored with Brotherhood? Blasphemy! :panic:

Yeah just ended up getting frustrated at this one particular level :lol There wasn't much going on with the story up until that point either.

I was actually thinking that Brotherhood kept my interest more than the first 2 games.

I know I'll end up buying this game eventually but I don't mind waiting for the $35 price tag that you know they'll throw on this during Christmas sales.

The overall story is what gets me. I love how the story has taken the whole biblical origin story and turned it upside down. Never has a game story captured me this way in a long time! It really gives you a bigger sense of importance in your mission than just basic assassinations and such for political/social/economic/revenge,etc reasons.

AC 1 had a lot of problems with stuff like repetition, but IMO the Abstergo story really made it worse. Being confined to that silly lab was annoying.

Its been tolerable in the latest 2, but only to varying degrees. I find having to read the various emails and talk to Lucy and the others tedious.

I enjoy the puzzle factor that the Truth stuff provided, but for me the more interesting stories in AC Brotherhood was the Borgia more than Abstergo.

I think Greece, Rome, Egypt those would all be epic.

Well...without the present day abstergo sequences, none of the endings would have been as mind blowing, especially the mind **** ending of assassins creed 2 which had a big impact on myself when the prophet thing comes together (wont spoil it for those who haven't beat it).

Well frankly I'm surprised so many of you like the story line. I think its sorta lame and takes it self WAY too seriously. You have to think some of them actually believe some of it. Probably a few tin foil hat folks mixed with scientologists in the bunch. :lol

I just like the historical settings, scenery and characters, etc.

I get bored with some of the stuff in Brotherhood...replaying some of the levels like 20 times because I can't 100% sync it. :lol

Beating the maze levels within x minutes gets frustrating because you have to take x minutes only to be told you didn't do it. :lol

The great thing about that game is that you don't HAVE to do all that stuff, but you DO get rewarded for it. But it's extra complexity is what makes it great IMO. I'm always getting distracted on a side thing, which stretches out the overall story for me.

Hmmm...I dunno. I think as far as video game plot lines go, its one of the better stories out there...but that's just my opinion :)

Agreed, certainly much deeper than ones I've seen in recent years. :exactly:

And I'd rather it take itself seriously. It is a SERIOUS game with moment of lightheartedness but after all you ARE an Assassin, not exactly easy to make a comedic character out of that profession!

There's nothing wrong with the story or the people who make it. There actually are people who think things like certain concepts of the story of AC are based in an element of truth. The bit about advanced beings being here before us and revered as "gods"? There are many books on that topic or similar ones. The aspects of templar society, new world orders or powerful clans of people using things like religion to shape and control society? That's not too foreign a topic either. The historical context is generally parallel to real life, and the loose ends (such as the real Ezio's life and profession, Leonardo's "down" years)) are simply taken advantage of for the sake of the game. The point is, there are plenty of people who enjoy the game who are very religious people. There are also plenty of people who enjoy this game who don't think that the storyline is any more preposterous than some religions would have them believe. But the game is made by very passionate and creative people and I think that shows. You can run staright through the story and be done with the game or you can get even more entrenched within the deeper elements and go back and find alot of replay value. I just don't see what there's not to like. It's easily among the best game franchises out there, with others like MAss Effect and Uncharted.

Major surprise for me! UbiShop posted my Animus Edition this morning. :yess:

That's great! All the regional exclusives are a bummer to me though. I wonder why there collector's edition isn't available in the US market for this.... Fortunately, most of the nicer editions have just around the same stuff in them. Look forward to your next post. :yess:

Have anyone ordered directly from ubiworkshop before?I really want that Encyclopedia and haven't seen it available anywhere else just yet.

I've bought both the desmond hoodies and abstergo hoodie from them
and twice I've made the mistake of using the fastest shipping method then getting custom fees when the items actually arrive
