If you as long as you didn't pay by cash there should be proof you paid him,check receipt,money order reciept,paypal reciept. As long as you have proof you paid you can get your money back. Do what you gotta do.

how the hell do you do it?

you take just as much orders as chris.. maybe even more and you deliver in a more than timely manner?.... from one sculptor to another... whats the difference between Chris_howes and you?

... and don't say you're not wearing hockey pads.

The only thing I find funny about all of this and its really none of my business but if you search back through all of the threads you will see that their has been mis-truths from the get go. Example in nov 08 Alfred was 90% finsh and pics were coming that week end for sure. Then 2 months later Alfred was 70% but not quite ready for pics though and how much fun he was having sculpting Cain's face, then a while later it was almost ready to start.... I mean if you fall behind thats cool just say so but honestly if you read back through any of the threads you will find several overlapping "little white lies about things" I hope this turns out ok for people.

This really sucks. When I signed up for Maximus armor and the House sculpt, he didn't have any other commissions going on and I was under the impression it'd be done in a matter of a month or two. But this is ridiculous. I just want my stuff so I can finish my customs. This long wait and lack of updates is really annoying.

yeah I'm no sculptor so I can't tell you how long this or that takes but a year to do 4 heads should be plenty of time! I'm sorry this is ridiculous. He's had almost a year to do 4 different Summer Glau heads and he hasn't even released one that I know of. The more I think of this the madder I get.

yeah dude... i was real skeptical about his other tdk projects... I remember reading those threads at one point and he was saying he just needed to finish the glasses on gordon and that pics would be up in a few days ... yet a few days went by and nothing nada.... zip

Unfortunately I paid with my paypal balance. I have contacted paypal and it is to late for them to do anything. That does not mean I do not have other avenues, which I am pursuing.

In the beginning he was more than happy to take my money and just before he ceased communications he was acting indignant that I was questioning his integrity. Every time I asked for a refund it was completely ignored.

Why did I wait so long, because I know good custom work takes time and the statue I did get was amazing but I feel that I have been more than patient and enough is enough.

I have watched the commission threads from the beginning with great interest and never once said a bad thing about him until I saw that I was not the only one that he basically took the money and ran.......

I really do hope it all works out but I have a bad feeling that it is not going to....

I hope that in the end everything is ok for all. I've been overloaded only one time and I decided to stop accepting orders.

Once all was finished I started again, quite simple.

As I've said I hope that there is a good reason and you all get what you have paid for.

When I jumped on board for Maximus, he was requesting immediate payments because the materials were a bit expensive. Going through that thread now, he hasn't posted any real updates since beginning of February. At this point, a refund seems like the better option.

captdan - thats what we are suppose to do.. we give them leeway over the paypal policy because we assume that when customizers ask for an extension it's with good intention.... unfortunately we are in the same boat

vartal - i agree with you... take the workload only if you can deliver.

I'm glad I didn't pay for the Ghostbusters heads, I just realized I had that in
my "to do" list...

I'm glad that Jon at Custom Workz is not like this. he made two batmans in two weeks, and was an awesome man to deal with. if only all could be like him.........
