DOFP was a good movie, but Avengers was still lots more fun and I expect the same from A2, just even bigger now.

Avengers 1st viewing for me was a much bigger deal than seeing DOFP.

Avengers was down right religious. :lol

Evan Peter’s QS is going to be hard to top, he didn’t just have one great scene, he pretty much stole every scene he was in, that saids something considering the actors he was working with.

It was good, but i'll take Cap's fight scenes any day of the week over QS flipping plates. :lol

Yea Cap had great action, but I’m not sold on Whedon as a writer or director yet. I don’t think he has it in him to make QS as awesome as Singer did.

:lecture :clap I'll never forget the first time I saw Avengers - how much FUN it was, how everyone in the theater was just totally enthralled and enthusiastic, coming out of the theater so freakin' hyped and ready for more.... It's a rare experience for me at the movies.

The Russos were amazing with Cap 2 - can't wait to see Cap 3. So, so glad they're back on board for it. I'm looking just as forward to it as I am AOU.

Whedon proved he's got what it takes with Buffy the Vampire Slayer for me, back in '97. I don't even think I would be exaggerating when I say I owe him some thanks for the passion I developed for characters and storytelling and how much love I developed for creative writing.

I'm confident in Whedon's Quicksilver.

The thing about DOFP Pietro for me is that it was a good TEEN version we got. I think that the one in AOU will be older and will be portrayed a lot more like the one we see now in comics. Brash and super overprotective. Plus, he has the one other thing hats a huge part of his character, and that's Wanda. But they at least hinted at Erik being his dad in DOFP so that's good.

actually I'm extremely interested in seeing Whedons QS and how he compares to DOFP QS. I'm especially interested to see how the Avengers will stand up to Ultron in a fight

I'm trying to stay pumped about Pietro and Wanda, but they looked full retard in their end scene cameo, tbh if I wasn't a longtime fan of Whedon's wizardry, I'd already be 'pre' calling the QS duel in Singers favor, and that speaks volumes considering my bias. As it is, regardless of how the dust settles, Singer already earned a hell of a nod by being first and slapping down a supreme product. Whedon's no one's fool, he's taking note, be sure of that.
