So for Thor's AoU costume they just repainted the gold... silver?!?!

Basically, yes.

Kind of glad to see that at least ONE character is sticking with his outfit. Of course, it's ALWAYS awesome to see new ones but in this case, I'm not upset that Thor is essentially keeping "The Dark World" outfit. It doesn't make sense for him to "update" his outfit storyline-wise.

While in Cap's case it does (STRIKE suit was SHIELD-related and the "Golden Age" was just a museum replica and not a "functional" outfit). Considering it looks like they will be a "funded/official" team now...then Stark will be fronting the bill for new threads.

Goofy looking stuntman aside I'm really not digging Cap's costume in this pic. Looks like a definite step down from the Stealth suit. That's Joss for you, always has to approve something worse than what he wore in the previous movie.

The helmet is what messes up any The Avengers suit and from what we've seen of this one it might be my favorite. The helmet on this one is more like the FA helm.

But that's just STEALTH suit (and helmet) with some areas painted red and white + different gloves and boots.

It is stupid as hell cuz STEATH suit was anti-heroic and a reference to his appearance in Heroic Age.

The suit made a return because he stole it. I'm talking about the red/white/blue making a return and he's had different shades of blues so I'm a little less worried it isn't that pale blue.

Okay so what you're really saying is "I'm looking forward to a dark red, off-white, and dark blue suit returning that he didn't steal but that was actually designed by Tony Stark to have cute little Avenger "A's" on it that RIDDICK randomly thinks is an exact copy of his Stealth Suit that was an un-heroic Heroic Age costume." That's a pretty specific thing to be looking forward to but nothing wrong with that I suppose. ;)

Sure why not :lol

The new suit looks fine to me. In the right conditions (the film filters and Age of Ultron's cinematography), it'll be fine. Doesn't help not having Evans as Cap in there either. It'll look good.

I would be surprised if Thor was the only Avenger without new duds with the 'A' logo on it.

I think the new suit will look good onscreen, but what do I know, I'm in the RIDDICK boat, I thought they used the stealth suit for a base as well. :lol
