Didn't watch.

I agree about Whedon. He managed to mix humour with seriousness very well and that is why The Avengers did so well IMO. I don't know how he did it so well. It was smart funny and exciting (albeit very TV-ish in it's execution visually) But I'm currently not impressed with Russo Bros. Really great action sequences, but that was it for me with Winter Soldier. I found it pretty charmless for a Marvel movie.

I watched Winter Soldier again last night and was thinking how much better some of the fight scenes would have been had the Russo's backed the camera off just a little bit. The camera distance of the Baltroc vs. Cap fight scene was perfect whereas the Soldier vs. Cap was too tight in some spots. I really had to concentrate too much to make out what was happening. Can you imagine a camera being too close when the Hulk is tearing it up? No Thanks.

I didn't mind the camera. I thought you could totally tell what was happening in the fights. Least it wasn't Transformers 1 or Hunger Games 1 bad.

Gotta be honest though, I'm really not liking what Joss is doing with Natasha. I actually don't like MCU Nat that much in general. I blame Joss.

Man, Seagal's hairline went from Larry Fine to Eddie Munster. And apparently he got an all you can eat cheeseburger deal with the hair transplant.

Film is close enough now. No need for yet more new footage, especially when it's not the extra long epic someone led us to believe it was.
