In all fairness to Iron Man and the rest of the Avengers, they were up against dozens (hundreds?) of Chitauri, so they had to contain the invasion in a small area around the portal or else they'd lose control over the situation quickly. Superman had no reason to keep Zod in that city.

Those big Chitauri whales were pretty much mindless following Tony. Those things could have followed him and Thor all the way to the ocean, away from the city to prevent this...

once the portal was close, thanks to Black Widow Zod was not just going to fallow Sups or stay away from the population

Not only that, but the army and the cops had started evacuating that area of the city. Cap had given orders to create a perimeter around them so they could fight and contain the situation.

Yes, that line in Avengers was...memorable? Do you know what would be better? A sequel I'm sure those references will lead to a direct sequel soon enough. Maybe Abomination will escape and kill a bunch a people since Hulk didn't finish the job the first time In the meantime, I guess Marvel is just too busy doing sequels and trilogies to all the other films that came out after IH.

That arm rebuilding scene is fantastic, although I know hes doing all the homing/automated stuff now, thats more how I imagine it would look on screen if Forge were ever included into an X film and building stuff with his powers.

I think Hulk is on par with the first movie, if anything, it's just that similar shots that looked more real than CGI were covered up with foreground elements or camera work. Look at when the plane shoots him on the hellicarrier, most of the CGI up to that was amazing and then he looks kinda cartoony in conparison, still better than bad CGI though.

Hulk to me looks extremely fake. I don't know, maybe it's my phone's screen or something but the CGI looked a lot better in the first film.

he feels like there is no weight to him in some shots. the same problem Transformers has, some of his movements are too fast or something, Like, something that size wouldn't be able to jump around like a frog (Which is the problem the first hulk movie had)
the fight looks awesome but yeah, It did feel weird a little bit, not the CGI itself but the way they are going against each other. they felt like dolls being thrown around a little bit
