Broke and happy
Same.
I loved it warts and all.
No one does superhero action quite like Marvel.

I tried to watch yesterday but the whole place got hit with a blackout and they had to close the theater for the night, got some free passes from it and watched today instead. Just came from seeing it and I'm not sure how I feel about, I need to watch again to get a better feel of it. It's weird, as good as it is, I feel something isn't quite right with it.
I guess two things that I know really bothered me was:
1 - The fact that Ultron demonstrated so emotion. I rather he was more robotic and plain (like in the comics) as a machine is expected to be.
2- That Vision was able to yield Thor's hammer. I mean, it was great way to demonstrate he was in our side and all that but I wish they had saved that moment for Cap. I would be a show stopper if Steve ever got to lift and use the Mjölnir.
I'm curious, Jye, what did you think of Vision being able to lift the hammer?
All and all, I liked it. Got watch it again for a more informed opinion on it.

Yeah, he's doing a lot of bitching since releasing the movie. I'm amazed he was given such a hard time after making them so much cash on the first one.
There is another part of that interview where he talks about Thor, the original sequence which he was forced to remove and how it nearly broke him. He got seriously beaten on.
Don't worry, in Infinity War Cap will grab the hammer while Thor is still holding it and he'll throw them both at Thanos, defeating The Mad Titan single handedly
Isn't that Wolverine's/Colossus's trademark move.
Age of Ultron was not my favorite. I would not recommend it. The last time I checked on Rotten Tomatoes it had a score of 72. I would give it a 46. Maybe lower. Maybe a 39.
My point of view is that Thor ruins the Avengers. It doesn't make sense. If you had Thor, why would you bring Black Widow? Why would you bring Green Arrow [ed. note: he means Hawkeye]? What's this woman with a gun going to do? Why's this guy shooting arrows? They have a god with them who cannot die. A guy who is good at shooting arrows or a girl who is good at shooting guns wouldn't make a particle of difference.
If you like movies about robots who make jokes, or movies about girls singing lullabyes to the Hulk, or movies about cities that float into the air for no reason, Age of Ultron will be right up your alley. It was not up my alley.
I think the last thing the film needed was more characters added at the end lol. Just throw Spider-Man and Captain Marvel in there? Would have been major overcrowding.
Disney was right, the farm and dream sequences were terrible, weird, and so out of place IMO. I posted that to my friends the night I saw it. The cave was also bad though. You can tell the movie has issues and does not flow nearly as good as other Marvel movies.
Really, click-bait articles count as news now?even 9 year old boys HATED this movie...
Oh My God looking for news about AOU is much more entertaining than watching the movie itself
this kid blows the movie away
BOOM!
It was actually one of the best parts of the film. Gave us more insight on the characters' deeper insecurities and how it serves to factor into their priorities. The dream scenes worked extremely well, IMO. Didn't feel out of place at all. Gave us some insight on the characters and a little foreshadowing.
