You should see the reaction at my local comic store. The guy there loves MOS. Everytime I talk about hot depressing it was he gets pissed. Then I point to the hot toys MOS figures and other toys he can't seem to give away.

even 9 year old boys HATED this movie... :lol:lol:lol:lol

Oh My God looking for news about AOU is much more entertaining than watching the movie itself :rotfl:rotfl

this kid blows the movie away :panic:

I admire Whedon for speaking up now that he has fulfilled his contract with Marvel. Between this and Edgar Wright/Antman it seems like they are not particularly pleasant to work with. Hopefully Gunn won't have a similar experience on GOTG2.

The Russos? I don't know, I think they could be in for a few years of hell.

And all the IronMan 2 drama.

You know after seeing what Whedon had to say it's hard to blame him for everything...

Don´t like the movie. It was like the first one plus a new stupid villain (Ultron). Too many characters, too many cuts of scenes....

I only liked "Winter Soldier" and "Guardians of the galaxy".

I'm sitting here just thinking about the quiet conversation between Vision and Ultron at the end.

That conversation delivered a TON more emotional weight and had a much greater impact than anything between Superman and Zod in MOS, in almost any cbm really.

A nice slow down after the fast forward the movie had been traveling in.

:exactly:

Yeah, it was a perfect way to end it

It was a nice touch having him find the final unit like that.

I liked Ultron's vulnerability.

I like that the movie is not as bright and slow as the first.

I liked the conflicting ideology making a mess of things.

This movie will benefit from additional scenes fleshing out the character arcs.

But I don't want the action slowed down!

All I got out of your post was this image of the nine year old boy.

:goodpost: :clap

Still my most favorite scene in the film, hell maybe even in the entire MCU personally.

I doubt that came from a 9 year old.

I do not doubt whoever wrote it still lives in the bedroom he had when he was 9 years old.

Agreed, I really liked that scene.
Not terribly new or original writing/thinking, but it was well handled.

Hold on. I'll find something scathing written by a fetus that will change your 6 year old's mind and make him think the whole thing was lame. It's important.

Watched it again last night, the last scene between Vision and Ultron is absolutely my favorite character moment. There was so much *character* in that Utlron drone, which was amazing considering that that one did not have animated facial features. Just the way he bobbed his head when he said "you are so UNBEARABLY [head bob] naive..." So much of Spader's "humanity" came through in the delivery and animation. One of the best scenes in any cbm, IMO.

I also found Utlron's relationship to the twins to be interesting. The way he listened so intently to their story about the Stark missile in their house. He also seemed genuinely concerned that SW might die if she stayed in the floating city.
