Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Agree 100%

I was not a lifelong Cap fan.. Would never dream of owning a statue of him.. But these movies turned me into one..

But I have to admit that after how Russo's treated hulk and gave Cap all the glory I am a bit resentful of him now.

I don't even remember Iron Man being in EG accept for that final snap. :lol

Yes, as a lifelong Hulk fan, he peaked in Avengers 2012. He finally looked perfect, imo...and did some cool stuff and had some iconic moments. Even Bruce Banner felt and looked right, imo. I wish subsequent films had done him the kind of justice Cap and IM got. :( However, phase 4 gives me hope that I will see something that I've always wanted to see in live action, Hulk vs The Thing from the F4. Just don't have Hulk get his ass kicked by the Thing too...for the love of god! :gah:

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Well Wolverine has never won a fight on the big screen so at least one of them will finally have a long earned victory, lol.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

I can't blame him. If you're a life long Cap fan, you can't ask for more than the MCU Cap. He's in a good (great to some) trilogy and plays a major role in the Avengers film series as well. In just 8 years, he's been in more good movies than Superman in 41 years....SUPERMAN!!! His trilogy did him justice in every possible way imaginable, from his origin, his powers, to even wearing the golden age comic costume in a clever way, and somehow being the most OP character in the franchise. :lol If you're a life long Cap or Iron Man fan, you're in movie heaven.

Actually given that I just had to say goodbye to Cap in this film, im kind of bummed out to be honest. Sam is cool and all, but he just isn't Steve Rogers.

If MCU uses Hulk in phase 4 in the ways you and Khev mention... I will then allow myself to love Endgame :lol

So maybe Russo’s had the infinity stone full of Gamma radiation so it will slowly poison banner back into losing control and maybe stronger then before.. I mean why else make it gamma.... Russo’s and Marvel are always planting seeds. . I could see this event becoming an issue for banner.... or he will just keep his gimp arm :lol

I am a little bummed that I'll never see Evans Cap face John Walker or the Serpent Society from my favorite storylines of the comics but yeah, considering everything that Clown Prince so thoroughly listed above it's a pretty small complaint in light of all that he's done the last 8 years, lol.

Yeah, im just going to miss Cap.

I get that Chris Evans wants to expand his career, but he must get the sense that he's unlikely to do anything this prominent or iconic ever again. He probably could have kept going another 10 years or more.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Why are people saying goodbye? It's not like he's a normal 105 year old. He's not dead. :lol

I don't think we've seen the last of him. Evans is still in his mid 30s. HE'LL BE BACK....eventually, either as old cap or young again somehow. Have we not learn from other franchises bringing back old characters?

As far as Hulk, I understand why they reinvented the character in several films. He's a big green monster. That can get repetitive and boring, so they turned him into a baby in Thor 3, a coward in IW and a hipster in EG, g Zeus. Plus they can't make solo films.

I wonder if Thor's new look is an excuse for Henthworth not to work out as much and look as godly as he did in previous films? He probably hates working out. and not eating carbs. :lol

Yea, after watching the new Star Wars films im not sure that is a good thing.:lol

But yea, they basically had a perfect machine in place that could make both Hemsworth and Evans look like their younger selves (actually I was really surprised that they didn't do that with Thor. I kind of figured after the set up with Ant-Man that is what would happen) so I hope that once Evans runs out of money or something he comes back.

Evans can still potentially return. It's a bummer that I don't think RDJ would (or should) return. While dead people have been revived in comic books and movies I think reviving Iron Man will simply undermine this film.

So the question now is, who will be in charge of all the Avengers' tech? Will it be Shuri? Is she the new Q?

Pepper, Nick Fury and Hulk. But to be honest, I have no idea what the Avengers lineup looks like now, because they have gone their separate ways, and some key members are dead or retired.
