Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Most likely all of a sudden they were back, said "what the ****" and went into action.
Remember strange saw the winning outcome. So he went and gathered everyone and said "we got some **** to handle".

That's pretty much how I saw it. Of course there would be confusion, but Strange would be somewhat aware of what was going on, and seeing that everyone was brought to the battle via sorcerers, he would've been the one spearheading everything. Arranging something of that magnitude would take some time, but it was ultimately successful because of Strange's involvement and knowledge.

Yeah, because if he never saw the one winning outcome, they would never have won no matter how hard they tried.

I'm sure it'll be explained in DS2

Lol

The real question is, what about all the other people in existence? Those who were in planes, driving, getting operated on, and who knows what else with aliens. BUT, it's a comic story so...

(Still the greatest superhero movie ever made)

:lol I think the regular people showed up instantly. Watching the bootlegged clips on YouTube you will see the minute or two after they show Hulk’s arm fried ...Clint’s daughter is calling his cell

Hulk really was the unsung hero in this aside from Tony

I wonder if The Ancient One contacted Strange once she met Hulk in the past

I don't think so.i think it's as simple as what he said in IW, "I looked ahead at all possible outcomes to the coming conflict". I dont even think the ancient one even knew. She got a grasp of it once Bruce came to her.

I know that. But if people were in a plane, and we saw a helicopter crashing in CM, those people who were in the air suddenly materialize back in the air with no plane? That sucks lol

True but remember what they said the past doesn’t change for them but it can effect the lives of others . She never met Hulk before and now she did and she also found out what happened to the stone.

So I wouldn’t be surprised if she contacted Strange after he returned.

This can be Nerdily Explained. :lecture

The fully loaded Gauntlet grants god-like powers, allowing the wearer to make the rules, no matter how complex.

Thanos specified the elimination of a random sampling of 50% of all life, with some specific exclusions based on promises (e.g. Stark -- whoops) or preferences.

Stark specified Thanos and all of his forces be wiped out.

Professor Hulk presumably specified that returnees be brought back to a safe place. Such a specification presumably required nothing more than some forethought, a little concentration during the fateful snap, and of course, the ability to withstand the power of all the stones long enough.

Problem solved. :lecture

Damn, I hadn't thought of that. So many people would have died indirectly from the snap. Planes crashing to earth because their pilots were dusted, killing everyone on board, dusted or not. People undergoing vital surgeries dying because their surgeon disappeared mid-procedure and suitable backup wasn't there. All sorts of scenarios probably. And they don't get to come back.

That's what I'm saying! So thanos, no matter what, kills so many people either way with snappageddon.

So if he knew, why taken back when things were unfolding? He pretended to not know?
Like "banner is gonna mess up my house in 3...2...now". I would've been like "people CALM DOWN, we got this", like Kirk when he cheated with the Kobayashi Maru.

It's confusing [emoji2962]

So what were the rules for them returning? Came back from where they left? That could lead to unfortunate circumstances..... especially if you were in a plane or car...:

Or do they all appear at home on their couch?

Oh wait....what if their couch now has another person occupying it? Like their wife’s new lover?

So long as it’s safe and a familiar region of space-time.

As for couches being occupied — imagine the hilarious misunderstandings and opportunities for heartwarming spin-off rom-coms!

You should if you haven’t already read or reread the Infinity Gauntlet..Stalin really made things illogical :lol

I can see why Feige and Russo’s changed so many things for the MCU version

With a lot more usage of characters..For one...Adam Warlock and Captain Marvel are top key players and difference makers

MCU ...Adam who?

CM ..nah we don’t need her that much in this :lecture

The Russo bros did stick to the formula that Cap made a big impact though

That's a big reason I like the idea of the MCU being finished after EG. There's just so much additional aftermath to the snap and subsequent return of the dusted people that I seriously doubt will be properly addressed in SMFFH and the rest Phase 4.

I have a feeling that Phase 4 will more or less act like everything is somehow back to normal apart from the deaths of Stark and Widow and Cap's retirement.

I read an article where some mathmatician calculated the accident related deaths that would be attributable to The Snap. It was something along the lines of 1.2 million deaths from transportation related accidents alone. More due to infrastructure collapse of clean water, power, and food when half the people supporting those industries disappear and the other half are in mourning.

But where the real disaster would come is after the 2nd snap that brought everyone back to life. After 5 years resource production would probably start to stabilize again to adjust for there only being 3.8 billion people left alive. Suddenly there are twice as many people on earth as there are resources to support them.
