I’ve always felt that was sort of a prelude to him doing so in the future; especially since he was the only one to budge it.

But how does Marvel get around weapons that are forged on Nidavellir can't be used by mortals - I guess. "Your bodies would crumble as your minds collapsed into madness". Or was Mjolnir not in theory as powerful as Stormbreaker.

It's not like touching Mjolnir caused some sort of instant meltdown. Or is only weapons infused with a specific power or killing ability would really mess people up even if Quill is half-god? Tho Mjolnir I guess has a sort of built in protection, because if you are unworthy you can't use it anyway.



Edit - all my local theaters have End Game times posted now, tho u can't buy tickets yet.

But in the scene in the trailer where Thor says he likes Captain Marbles, it looks like it’s Mjolnir that wizzes past her head and not Stormbreaker. So maybe he gets his hammer back?

At the risk of belaboring my point and a final attempt at clarification...
Im referring to any actresses or actors in a Fox franchise (ie The X-men) not current Disney Marvel franchises.
In that context the end credits scene description makes perfect sense given what Feige has said about the future of the MCU.

Yeah, I remember reading a while back that for some reason, that version of Thanos, complete with the battle armor and double-sword was mistakenly used on some of the licensing for “Infinity War.” Like this toy, for instance...
