Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Yup, and being Tony has been haunted by Thanos since A1, it just makes sense.

I would add that the optimum plot would be for the once self centered Tony to finally sacrifice himself to save the Universe.

Then DS to reverse time just long enough to save him and give him the happy ending. (The opposite of his creation Vision in IW)

But Cap is still gonna die in a non reversible way.

Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Popped in here with eyes half-shut to avoid potential spoilers LOL.

So i see it on the 25th — once at 6:15 and again at 10:35. I’m pretty sure I’ll nerd-out and miss a lot on the first viewing.

I still remember the first time I saw Iron Man in the theatre, utterly clueless as to what would follow...

Other than obvious storyline bits and those horrible white uniforms, I'm completely spoiler free at this point.

Me too. Just need to stay that way for 22 days...

I made the mistake of watching the trailer that went with the announcement that tickets were on sale. Was set in on Marvel not showing anything, then they give us a ton of material at once. Wasn't ready for that.

I know this is off topic but why is the new Godzilla thread closed now?

6:15, then 10:35? That's cutting it close for the 2nd show - did you factor in the long lines waiting to empty bladders after the first show? :wink1: #Cath4Cap

I'm seeing it at 7:15 on the 25th. Our local theatre is running it all through the night. I'm a fan, but there's no way I'm going to a 2:00am show. That's just insane. Maybe those screenings are for the Disney mannequins. :lol

I'll probably see it again early Friday afternoon.

LOL...the 2 shows were all that was left available with 2 seats next to each other; wasn't sure which one the girlfriend wanted to see. For the second I'll go with a friend or if I have a pair of friends who couldn't get tickets, I'll hook them up. It is a bit close though. :lol

I'm seeing it at 6:00 and 10:20 opening night, and plan to sneak a quick dinner in between. You should be fine.

Not sure I've got it better *logistically*. First show ~10:00 Thurs and have an hour drive to get there. Hour back. Then next show at ~1:00 afternoon Friday.

We were lucky to get that - great seats too. E.g. am driving a lot for EG. Tho w. tickets safely bought can re-think stuff, like stay in place overnight. Have pets that need looking after tho. It's just folks w. jobs etc. hafta juggle schedules and all that. Not a huge deal but few movies I would make that kinda effort for. 'Course most films don't have this kind of ticket insanity either.:lol

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

This has got to be the most marketed Avengers film to date IMO, it better deliver because the hype is off the charts .

Wasn’t a fan of AOU film unfortunately :lecture

CW which technically labeled a Cap film and IW brought back the magic but what worked was the addition of all the other MCU characters , so now we are back to the main Avengers team with some extra characters like AM and CM so I really hope they wrote a good plot :dunno

No worries - I heard they brought in Rian Johnson to help with the script. :wink1:
