It's his life, if he wants to draw a line in the sand to defend a friend then it's his call.... I'm not sure why people are getting upset over it... Disney can recast or just shelf GOTG indefinitely... Maybe reboot it 10 years from now with a all new cast or maybe will never see another GOTG ever again... who knows...

I agree. His life, his decision. If he feels that "loyal" and that strongly then I'm sure he'll sleep just fine at night.

If they covered some of pro wrestler in green paint and red scales I probably wouldn't even know the difference.

Maybe Bautista can go have lunch with Terrance Howard and Ed Norton and get their advice.

Got this yesterday on3D blu ray. I'm not the biggest MCU fan, but this movie is something truly special, and the 3D is mind blowing. Still gutted that they circumnavigated Adam Warlock but looking forward to part deux.

This is the video in question where Bautista said he doesn't want to work with Disney anymore.

I'm probably going to be done with the MCU after Avengers 4, so I guess I won't be heartbroken to not see him come back.

I really hope MCU takes a long break as a whole after A4. Nothing left to do for a while.

I think it will be a good jumping off point for fans and non-fans alike. Stories are always better when they have "endings" IMO.

The only Marvel movies I might be interested in post-A4 are the next Spider-Man (for Vulture) and the potential Doctor Strange sequel. I would love it if the Russos did a proper Thor sequel after seeing how awesome they made the character in IW, but Wreck-narok pretty much cemented that never happening.

Drax changed his appearance and personality in the comics. He would be killed and then come back different so there is precedent to do so. In the comics, he is also unable to die permanently until he has fulfilled his purpose, kill Thanos

I highly doubt the MCU X-Men or FF will ever be able to live up to the novelty of seeing the team together for the first time in the original Avengers or the epic loss they suffered at the end of IW. Assuming Avengers 4 feels like a proper conclusion to the MCU and not a gigantic trailer for Phase Four, then X-Men and FF will probably feel more like products and less like actual film. I would never hope for that to be the case of course, but right now I'm extremely skeptical and probably will not bother anyway because I personally have zero investment in those characters.

None of you interested in Captain Marvel or bland widow movies then? How sexist. Reported to feminist groups the lot of ya! :lecture
