And more to the initial point, I really haven't seen any evidence to indicate that's gonna happen. Seriously. I'm not sure how "Hawkeye has a new haircut" equates to "His wife and kids are gonna get brutally murdered in front of him."

Hell if they're trying to give him an edgy new look or whatever, that can be explained by him changing his appearance because he's a fugitive.

My money is on Cap getting a new suit if some sort in the film, but they are keeping that low key until it comes out. Maybe he'll retake the CA mantle and get Stark tech scale mail for Part 2.

I'm looking for a Cap figure. Civil War is sold out, so I'd be keen for a new Infinity War version. The "Road Worn" look with beard would be cool, but not really representative for a general Avengers display.

Am sure Hot Toys will no doubt do both. Can't imagine Cap to be "Road Worn" for the entire length of the movie.

I'm was really expecting to see one or both of those two announced after Vol 2. Ok we got Yondu which is great. But I think they'll do them. But HT has plenty of time to role them out with infinity war and/or Vol 3.

As mentioned, suit most likely originates from this chest. We got a preview of that tech with the 46.

I really hope so. At this point, I'm even beginning to worry they won't release Vol. 2 Gamora or Drax. Nuts, I know, but I can't see when would be a good time for an announcement now. We're gonna be swimming in Last Jedi, Justice League, and Thor Ragnorok announcments from now till Christmas. I knew Yondu would be announced but I really want a Gamora figure and I waited for this one because I like the outfit better.

I really hoped Mark 48 to be like Bleeding Edge. IMO, having the Arc Reactor on his chest again is a step back from him calling his suit to him.

IMO tho there have been a few set pic leaks here and there, Marvel/Disney must have uber-security goin' on. Re team Cap and BP and other cast, it's like they must be sneaking them onto set or something (probably). 'Coz IW part 2 is filming right now and there's pretty much no "leakage". I figure Marvel must have clamped down on figure/toy companies too re *spoilery* leaks and previews.

It's learned LEGO will be putting out eight sets for the Marvel Avengers: Infinity War and Black Panther movies.
A leaked photo from a LEGO catalog reveals The Avengers: Infinity War will get six LEGO sets, which is similar to the release of Age of Ultron.
Black Panther is revealed to be getting two LEGO sets, which is the same for Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok.
Details on the sets include The Avengers: Infinity War will be released March 2018, with Black Panther getting released January 2018.

Probably like some other folks the downer for me is whether to pick up less-favorites for the collection that I only want one of - like from Thor Ragnarok - or hold out for what will be the uber-cool Infinity War version of a character. Except for Cap, Bucky, Falcon, SW and maybe Black Widow.

They'd have to do something spectacular for me to pick up another Iron Man after the CW release. It's not the character, it's that the versions I like seem to be the pricey ones $$$$ Same for Doctor Strange as the version I am getting Monday (hope) is so fully loaded and I am pretty happy with my current BP (after I got the head sculpt).

Killing time lately re-watching MCU films and then reading older articles that kind of hint - or outright claim - that originally re CW RDJ's part was gonna be a lot smaller, but RDJ is a fierce negotiator blah blah. Then I re-watch TWS and scene by scene it's just so d*mn good. But IM3 - not so much IMO.

All of that's well known so not re-hashing - but there's that; and then IM in Homecoming - and lately some set leak pics - e.g. since I'm Team Cap and think the shadowy, unfilmed back stories of WS, BW, Hawkeye and the relationships (not shipping, just dynamics) are a lot more interesting than more of Tony Stark and his circle at this point (to me) - just hope IW isn't gonna be dominated by Iron Man. Because I'm beginning to feel over-saturated with IM and I was already over-saturated with Spidey and now it's Spidey and IM.

Like I wasn't thrilled for Pepper to make a re-appearance as I thought that undermined the gravity of everything Tony had been coping with in Civil War and that alone-ness would be there as Tony, still coping with fears of what might come from the skies, had this solitary effort going on building protective armors and thinking about his father and guilt and Cap and the loss of friends and so on - now it looks like they are skating on all that, kind of. Like maybe it would have been the arrival of the Guardians that help Tony start figuring stuff out. But it looks like Tony is doing just fine, pretty much. And maybe it'll be good ol' Pep that gets Tony talking to Cap, eventually zzzzzzzz and that's a fig I'd never buy personally.

LOL two of the most popular comic figures in the world, but they are not my favorites. I had to have an IM tho (CW IM is a great fig) and suppose some day I gotta get a Spidey to represent. Meanwhile while the Russos have to give IM his thing I guess re IW ("collaborate") just hope they can keep to their original planned story lines https://www.slashfilm.com/avengers-infinity-war-relationships/. I don't want to be sitting through Iron Man #4 myself next May.

But gotta stay positive 'coz at least my favs are confirmed and will likely get figs. I hope HT does new WS and Antman sculpts - figure BW and Cap are a given for HT.

3 definite buys for now are bearded Cap with worn suit (Nomad), Black Widow with white/blonde hair, and Hawkeye with mohawk cut. I have almost all the Caps (no SSM); Avengers, WS, CW Widows; but just one Hawkeye, the first one.

For me, I am totally IM out, so I am perfectly happy with my XLV. Unless something really special happens with XLVIII in terms of capabilities, I am going to pass. Already have AOU Cap, which is my definitive Cap. Have CW Hawkeye, which is my definitive Hawkeye. No interest in short hair Thor, never have much interest in Hulk, Falcon, Spidey or GOTG. Will wait for Ant-Man and the Wasp to get Ant-Man and Wasp. One definite IW buy is blonde Widow and maybe IW Scarlet Witch depends on her outfit and accessories.

Everyone else isn't a must buy unless they're a huge improvement from the figures I already have. I wish RDJ's part in CW was smaller, but truthfully I would have always preferred a regular Captain America 3, not Captain America: Avengers 2.5. As much as I loved Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch and Ant Man in CW - I think we have similar faves, there!

We also have similar least faves - Iron Man and Spider-man would ultimately be near the bottom of my favorites list, overall. Hulk, too, for me, which seems kinda uncommon.

Iron Man + Spider-man focus overkill is something that would turn me off. Really, from that link, the only exciting part for me to read was that Cap + Bucky are still important. That Bucky himself is still important, because I fear them sidelining him, which would suck with a character with that potential and an actor with that talent.


I just can't imagine getting many figs from this line - I'm waiting on an Ant Man and Wasp from their movie. Black Panther I may get from his solo film. I'm getting the GOTG Vol. 2 figures, so a possible Nebula or Mantis would be it for me. The current Strange is so amazing. At least with blonde Widow and bearded Cap they look different. Bearded Cap, Bucky, and Scarlet Witch are possibilities, maybe.
