Bro, you will always get whiners no matter if your selling DX Jones or Cotton Socks. Thankfully, I personally have never had one but reading various threads it has become apparent that most whiners have a post count under 100 :lol

Just because I just started posting more frequently as of late doesn't make me a whiner! If it was your _____ken $240 spent and received nothing then I am sure you would be crying like a girl, cause only girls rally around each other! Get your facts straight! My opinion is as valid as anyone who has 3,000 posts!

In all fairness, anybody who didn't see the thread title as the opinion of it's author has far more serious issues to deal with... like basic reading comprehension. This is the opinion of this buyer in particular, based off of this transaction and it's up to Q to change that opinion, or just ignore it if he so chooses.

Honestly, I'm getting a little sick of seeing every "negative" thread regarding Q trolled by a select few of his "loyal customers" until it's closed - which is entirely their intent. I'd like to see how this actually plays out naturally, for a change so that I, as well as others, can make an educated decision on whether or not to patronize Q's store based on ALL his customers, not just the "loyal" ones.

I have never bought a sausage from Q but I know how it feels when things are exaggerated.
especially with things like on-line forums and review sites.
Most of the damage has already been done before said party has even seen what's going on and had time to react.
I had a board member going back (funny enough another newbie) who tried to ruin my reputation even though I was strictly within guidelines and had done nothing wrong.
I'm sorry you got problems Andres but try not to let your steam off on this forum and damage what seems a perfectly good trader...

I don't see people queing on here to add to "Qs bad service thread!!"

:goodpost:
His so-called buddies can try to bully me around, but the fact is... I have a fatal illness that can't beat me down, and I will be damned if I will let their words get to me!

To be fair, to nam's point, there have been threads complaining about Q before but they tend to get ugly and get closed therefore the rest of us are none-the-wiser about whether the situations were resolved or not.

I don't think it's a case of 'newbie with under 100 posts is out to ruin dealer xx's reputation'. He's had a problem with a transaction and it hasn't been resolved in a timely manner.

Now the question is whether that's the postal service's fault or not?
Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but I think it'll be benefitial for potential customers to see how this pans out to judge for themselves whether they would like to give their business to Q or not in the future.

Even the best dealers can make mistakes at times, but a little transparency can go a long way

On another note: andres1wacko78: Hope you can fight your illness dude, wish you the best of luck.

Yes I genuinely hope you combat your illness and the post thing was just to chuck a bit of light in the situation.
I'm out of this thread now....
Better not bump my Pre order thread for a while!!

Thank you... all I can do is go by what UPS is saying the seller hasn't done. The seller avoiding and not responding to me doesn't help the situation. I know there have been complaints on here. Maybe not for the same reasons as mine, but there has been. And for some of these members to think I should just be blown off just cause I am a newbie is insane! This has nothing to do with experience! Wrong is wrong! And you have no point but to try to insult in your post! Thanks VOID! I read your posts and love looking at your collection. My whole purpose is to show members how this experience was and is bad for me! Word of mouth is a powerful thing. Too bad many business owners don't see that. I hope he takes care of it. I would be happy to thank him afterward. This all has to do with the principle of doing business.

I hear what you're saying. However, if Andres said he called UPS and they said they're waiting to receive claim papers from Q, and Q isn't replying to Andres, it's entirely feasible he's not replying to UPS either. If he is, and has responded to UPS I'm perplexed on why he wouldn't take the 20 seconds out of a busy day to respond to an email from a disgruntled customer to at least set them at ease. Instead, Andres is left to create this thread out of frustration, which finally resulted in a response from Q (which really hasn't resolved anything yet - and the excuses only add to the frustration given Q wasn't too busy to take Andre's money in the first place). The irony here is that if Q'd bothered to take the 20 seconds to respond to Andre's initial inquiry into the situation, we wouldn't even be posting in this thread. :huh

As for having kid and a Family.... I have seen you use this excuse on other threads. I have a fulltime job, I am a fulltime college student, 4 kids, a wife, and an illness that is killing me, and I still have time to mess with this hobby. Unfortunately I am selling most of it cause of my illness, but I still have time. So that excuse doesn't resonate with me. Sorry

If I had 4 kids, a wife and an illness that was KILLING ME, the last thing I would do is haunt a message board and stalking a seller over a lost dollie. I'd be spending as much time as possible with them while I still had the time. But that's just me.

This thread should've been locked a long time ago. A whole lotta nothin' going on here.

^^^ This is exactly what I'm talking about. This does absolutely no good for the retailer in question, or the situation at hand, let alone, future customers' perceptions of him. :huh

It is the principle! That is not just my money, it is my family's! I am not letting my illness get the best of me! As I am fighting it, I will continue to live my life and due what I think is right!just cause you would just let the world go by during a dark time in your life is the way you would live and handle things, doesn't mean that is the way I am going to handle mine! I want other members who are curious about doing business with Q to see the down side of my experience. My opinion, as many of you have your own when you start a thread!

I'd ignore posts like that, Andres. I know it's hard (trust me, I really do! :lol), but they're baiting you into getting emotional so they can instigate a flame war that will get this thread locked. His personal attack and trolling has been reported, so just let the mods deal with it.

Thread summary:

OP needs to chill.

Q needs to communicate better with his customers.

Next.

Thanks bro, but believe me it takes a lot more than immature people to get me angry. :nono
Remember... I have 4 kids. :thud:

Thanks for the support

Thanks for the insult, but I am within my rights:pfft:

Of couse it's your right, trust me l have been there (getting ripped off, most of us collectors have been there once or twice), but we don't come on the board bashing the seller. Save that for when it is game over and you are ripped off and it's case closed, you lose. Then come and start bashing, chill out until then. I know what it's like to lose $250-$300 on a transaction also.

To be honest, Raymond Ferraro, The_One, fear 666 xxx, pixletwin, and jstep13 arent loyal customers. We havent had a transaction together, they are just seeing it from a different perspective than yours....

I agree with Nammag. It doesnt take much in a day to check an email by laptop, by phone or whatever it is people are using these days.
If he knew a case was open, he should have gone the extra mile to cover all bases ie responding to andres just to put his mind at rest and that he is in frequent contact.
It is a shame andres has had to shake the branch by making a thread here but I would have probably done the same.
Q is probably a great guy to deal with but we all make mistakes and it sounds like a slight lack of communication has created allot of hassle.
Hope it all gets sorted soon.

Im getting tired of going back & forth.... The buyer requested tracking number so they would be home to expect the package. I sent the buyer an email with the tracking number. Item was delivered! The best part of UPS Tracking, it shows when the item is scheduled to be delivered and an approximate time is given. Im not sure what I did wrong, was I suppose to hand deliver the package????

Am I suppose to hold a gun to the UPS person handling the claim?

There is bad dealers and also BAD CUSTOMERS!

I am tired of defending myself on here, luckily there is other dealers that sell the same products I do. You are not forced to buy anything from me..... But if you do, I will do my best to take care of the customer (which I have done with 100+ transactions on here)

Your also saying Im using my family and career as an excuse, but your illness has nothing to do with this transaction.
