@P.:
But I still expect you to answer my argument, hehe... :wink1:

Everybody here needs to stop talking to baloo and tell him to get back to work so he can finish the bio faster. You're all distractions. :lol :lol :lol
Baloo, i'm very sorry but i don't want to be hated here for offtop posts %)
i can prepare some movie pictures and ask you to make similar photos of the figure in your helmet to compare sizes of movie head and toy head, but this is a bad place for it, as i guess from comments.

Ha, I understand... But I think you're wrong about the fact for fear that someone would hate you because we're chating... This is my thread after all, right?! :lol
As for Tim, it's really a nice guy and he was only joking of course.
Do not worry. I respect your choice, but it's a pity to self-censor. :gah:

With the inside details of this mask it gets closer to a scaled prop replica. The same with the exclusive Stormtrooper helmets that comes with Luke & Han they have cool interior details. This Predator mask can be easily displayed on a stand next to the figure due to all the great details on it. :)

Baloo, when (or if) i find enough images that will show no place in actual helmet for actual head+details of that size, i will show it. still missing one very important picture.

back to topic - as you did this helmet with interior, it will be very different from P2's mask. do you agree that it will be unfair not to start making proper P2 mask with same detail level after you finish this one? :) :)

@jkno:
Many thanks, sergiu!
A dedicated display? Wow... That would make it (too much?) honor! :D

@P.:
I do not know how you'll be able to prove me that there is not enough space in the original mask (as in mine there's enough), but I'm interested!
... P2 mask with interior details? To see, hehe :dunno

here we go.
movie face and helmet.

no place for tubes going out. helmet repeats face shapes and sizes.

You have included 12 images in your message. You are limited to using 10 images so please go back and correct the problem and then continue again.

and...
as in mine there's enough
of course it is. because HT predators have very small, short, narrow faces. and you repeated the movie size helmet, getting lots of place because of it.

and here are some screens showing that width fills the helmet completely as well as length.

well, here's what i meant. those replica details are too big for a movie helmet.
plus, as i mentioned before, being that big, they would scratch the face of masked predator.

Wow... What a job :thud:
Do not get me wrong, but your reference images are of very poor quality. They are blur and underexposed (I can discern almost nothing about the first 3 photos).
To really argue, one must also have the mask and the head in totality at the screen (otherwise we may have a poor understanding of proportions), but even more than these two shots must be exactly from the same angle...
Sorry my friend, you did not at all convinced me. :huh
Believe me: I really spent lots and lots of time on collecting reference images to make this mask and I think being right... Beware: I said "I think", eh! :wink1:

:huh :eek:
waiting for your helmet, and hoping that you will once decide to do the same for P2. two masks of that level on two best predators = :rock2

im no expert on the predator but the helmet looks way too small to me.
i wouldve thought it should be bigger like this -

Untitled-1.jpg

as baloo said, i think your proportions are wrong.
for real proof, you would need a pic of both the mask and face from the same scene.
:dunno

Yep... That's what I've tried to explain:
To be sure of proportions, you need:
- shots under same angle
- full parts (non-cropped)
- shots as clear as possible (well exposed and sharp)

*sighs* as movie screenshots show (including the ones with face and helmet in one shot), the proportions are correct.

sapienti sat.

Im not saying youre wrong...just that your example is wrong.
the mask that you have overlaid over the face looks too small to me...even compared to the movie one.
