And BTW, about the eyes looking up in the masked photo. at first I thought that it looks that way because the guy who owns the figure put the mask on the interrogation room Joker, if he put it on the one with the greased up hair, then the eyes would be looking straight. But then, after carefully examining the photo, I realized that the hair in that photo is the greased up hair!

So now I'm confused, because in these photos, the eyes are definitely NOT looking up or maybe just a little... judge for yourself....

now, can anyone please tell me, whether the greased up haired Joker is in fact looking up or straight?

The eyes doesnt look bad,however i own the Apollo Creed from the Rocky line and he has eyes looking up as well and it doesnt look good.Joker doesnt look that bad though.

They are looking UP. That shot is from a higher angle. The boxed head shows the eyes also looking up. It's pretty easy to tell...

This should be corrected. The BR masked Sculpt should not have eyes painted this way, it makes no sense and looks goofy.

Joker's head is always tilted downwards. I guess the eyes are painted that way to compensate. That's me reasoning, I guess.

Most of us are going to use that head sculpt with the mask, so I don't mind.

Nah, we will be getting it this way (eyes painted up). Again, it makes no sense to do this because when he is wearing the mask, it looks goofy..

But for those concerned about changes, I wouldn't worry about it. They were painted this way in the Prod shots too...

yeah but keep in mind this isn't what you're gonna see when you have him displayed normally. If you notice, the detail on the mask isn't clear and the color is jarring because of the light source illuminating the mask. Normally the eye area will be considerably darker and probably not visible at all. Like this:

the problem? Looks stupid with the mask on, that's the problem. But then again, chances are you won't be able to see the eyes with the mask on anyway, except if you're looking at it from a close distance.

This figure is amazing! Obviously it is not as good as the promo pics (the eyes are really not very real looking and the paint is more messy and odd in some areas) but it is still one fo the best Joker sculpts we have seen! And you cannot beat the accessories he comes with! This will be my favorite figure from Hot Toys this year!

I'll have to cancel but although the mask setup isn't as cool as the second headsculpt, it still looks good--I was going to display it with him pulling the mask up off his face like in one of the promo pics.

Well, the first set of heads hit eBay last night. The regular version 2 head (nonslicked back hair) is already near the $50 mark. I think I'm better off just buying the figure then parting out what I don't want (everything but the heads, body, and submachine gun).

From that EBay listing. The paint job looks better in this pic. The red and black drips (from the mouth and eyes) don't look as prominent as in the other pics.

Only thing that bothers me is that the smoke grenades don't have the decals from the looks of it, but oh well.
