Yep Rory not sure what to do with the shield ........
For those buying more then one you better get a storage locker. I wish the bat disc's were magentic. Also keeping my wheel locks in she rolls great. STILL cant believe its here.

Josh from AE told me he's honoring the shipping cost their website gave in shipment. Canceling my order from BBTS and getting it for $640 from AE.

Grats to those who got it. I'm still debating what the hell to do with the box and shield. Wish I can just throw it all out.

The shield is size of the box i think around 43 45 inches long.

Thanks for the suggestion but it's too narrow. Needs to be a minimum of 20" wide. These are 13" and 15" respectively. Oh well, the hunt continues.

Why oh why did Ikea have to discontinue the Granas table?!?! The ONE table that was perfect for the Batmobile! They have no idea how many they would sell with all the demand for this!

Haha...I couldn't get off of work today, I made my mom come over to my apartment in the morning to wait and then my best friend to take over for her with the afternoon "UPS shift" so it wouldn't be missed.

Now I'm home for work and we've both been pulling "UPS wait duty" for the past couple of hours. Knocking back brewskies, browsing Sideshow while he plays Arkham Asylum. As soon as it gets here, I'm going out. Not gonna try to handle it inebriated, even slightly.

Batmobile is 16" wide. The bigger can work. The bigger one is 15.75". Should be close enough. That's going to be my route.

Batmobile is 16" wide. The bigger can work. The bigger one is 15.75". Should be close enough. That's going to be my route.

Not if you are modding the sides with glass or plexi. I want full enclosure otherwise what's the point of having it?

Gotcha. Not putting a case on mine. This is an easy item to dust/clean and it'd be a pain to lift off a 3 foot long case every time I wanted to turn on the lights. The only collectibles I have under case are MR Snowspeeder and 7 MR Lightsabers. My EFX Tie is uncovered and hasn't suffered. PF Speeder Bike never had a case and is still in mint condition. If I get worried about dust or the like I can throw the shield piece over it.

Not going to display mine with the shield. I want it in a protective case proudly displayed in all of its badass glory.

Thanks so much kl241 the fun has only just begun! Wait until i have encorporated both the Batman and Batmobile dioramas together!!!

I forgot to ask, where did you get those rocks? I went to a pet shop today looking for something similar but they didn't have anything like that. Those are perfect.
