Not having a place to put this in is not a valid reason for me not to buy this piece now.

I would rather have the problem of figuring out where to display it than having the problem of it running out of stock or having the price double up on me.

Good point. A point that I wish you hadn't made because that was my excuse for not getting either vehicle. Damn you.

how long did it take HT from announcement to reveal? Was it at last year's comic con? I know that at HT's 10th anniversary they announced acquiring the rights to do 89 batman but that was only the figures and nothing about the batmobile.

Has it just been a year to develop this? I consider that fairly fast. I can understand that it would take a year to get this into mass production.

Yeah maybe, but I would've liked the Batmobile to be released a bit closer to the figure.

I finally got around to figuring out where the hell I can display this thing. I'll have to do some minor moving of stuff and get an acrylic display or something to keep the dust out, but it'll work.

Any department stores liquidating in your area? If so, do what I did. Buy a jewelry case. Nice big display that comes with lights and it comes with drawers down at the bottom on the backside. It's perfect.

But in all honesty in reading through the last few pages i'm really surprised most are happy about this being a year away. I think its absurd to calling for preorders now, showing windows etc. I read the 2013 and I was shocked.

Am looking forward to it though. vehicles in 1/6 are a no-no for me but this? A can't miss. seriously!

I'm fine with it being a year away. I have a wedding ring and a Darth Vader ANH helmet replica I'm paying for this year. Gives me plenty of time to plan and save. I'm glad we were able to preorder now.
