Re: Batman: Arkham City (No Spoilers)

There's a new Arkham City: Joker trailer out today - check it out on MTV's site if you're not bothered by spoilers.
There is one real, yet extremely brief spoiler in it -
You get a split-seconds glimpse of Talia working with The Joker

Re: Batman: Arkham City (No Spoilers)

WOw joker looks awful. I wonder how he gets cured in this game.

I cant understand how an official trailer can be called a 'spoiler' Hmph such cryptic posts wouldnt be the order of the day if not for such overzealousness :dunno

please end this ridiculousness for god's sake, now we cant get a perfectly legit trailer posted here as members are afraid it may be counted as a 'spoiler'???

BTW I didnt see
Talia as much as I tried to
in the trailer

Yeah, I completely agree axecutioner18, I think this whole spoiler issue is ridiculous nonsence too.
Unfortunately though it seems to have been accepted by the mods so I thought it best to play safe. Not so much for the trailer itself, but for what I put in spoiler tags. I can see some people getting their knickers in a twist if I posted that, even though it's actualy public knowledge now about that character being in AC.

FYI:
If you freeze frame at about 0:24 you'll see Talia stood behind Joker.

Re: Batman: Arkham City (No Spoilers)

If it spoils the game for you its a spoiler, if it tells you loads about all of these character appears and leaves almost nothing as a surprise then its a spoiler even if the dev chooses to release the info.

As far as Batman goes the devs are giving too much away IMO.

Re: Batman: Arkham City (No Spoilers)

Who says he gets cured? Titan clearly messed him up and there might not be a cure.
Well they cant kill off the joker. hes the joker

Yea change the the title and take the spoiler things off, if you dont wanna be spoiled by official info then dont come here. I'm pretty sure Rocksteady wont spoil there own game anyway.:dunno

Just because he's sick/messed up doesn't mean its terminal. Sure he might be permanently jacked up but it doesn't mean he's going to die or get better.

And who knows, perhaps Rocksteady does have the balls to kill Joker off :dunno

How the hell are you supposed to know whether they've left anything as a surprise when you haven't even played the full game?

You're assuming that they're giving too much away, when really there's no way you could have any idea.

Re: Batman: Arkham City (No Spoilers)

Exactly. They released quite a bit of stuff for AA but there was still tons of stuff not shown beforehand in that game. And with the increased size of this game, I can only imagine what they're holding back. Heck, we know Talia is in this and who voices her but haven't seen anything involving her yet. And we still have no idea if previous villians like Ivy and Zsasz will return as well. There is still tons yet to be revealed.

I just hope we get a teaser demo soon. I played the heck out of the AA one :lol

Heh. If spoilers are subjective, the word has no meaning. The developers define "spoiler". Information that is officially released isn't a spoiler.

There are hundreds of other threads on this site where you can talk to people of all demographics that don't know anything about Arkham City, and don't want to say anything about Arkham City. You have your pick of them ... no fear of learning anything, official or otherwise.

Re: Batman: Arkham City (No Spoilers)

i cant find the joker trailer, mtv doesnt let it play in the uk :(

Re: Batman: Arkham City (No Spoilers)

So, I assume there are still some lesser-known villains in the game that'll be left as a surprise? Mad Hatter, perhaps? It makes sense to unveil big hitters like Catwoman, Penguin and Mr. Freeze, and the inclusion of Deadshot hints towards some less well-known villains being included. So hopefully there's still a third of the villain lineup to be found out when the game releases.

Do I spoiler speculation incase I'm right? :p

Re: Batman: Arkham City (No Spoilers)

Probably. We know Calendar Man is in this but he hasn't been shown yet.

OH MY GOD BUTTMUNCH.

Really, you really just did that? Thanks for ruining the game for me. I had no idea Calendar Man was in this game.
