Any tips on getting past the 2nd riddler batmobile challenge? Im getting a bit frustrated. :gah:

Ok major question do you have to do the side missions like riddler and penguin and two face? Is it part of the main story? Becuase i notice most of the characters from the trailers arent really present in the arkham knight missions

Only if you want the true ending.

Getting all the Riddler stuff is an eternity. I'll likely never be able to do it. Even with a guide it would take forever finding everything. Excellent game though.

BUT a huge mistake not including a bunch of combat challenge maps that's what we all love is the fighting. Only 4?! And can't play as the other characters on them?! Way lame

The final Riddler race track is driving me insane! Whoever came up with these challenges should be punched in the face, they're not fun at all.

I hear ya!

I only got through them by sheer determination. I think what might have helped me a little was slowing down coming up to certain obstacles (like the giant screw/drill thingies whatever they are) and then boosting as much as I dared inbetween obstacles. The loops are a great place to continuously boost too. The other thing I did was turn the sound off as I found it a bit distracting/annoying in places (as very well The Riddler should be! :lol ).

Yup, I always kill the volume when I'm stuck on a repetitive section of a game. I managed to all the Riddler challenges, and now I'm 96% complete minus only the Riddler trophies, which are required to get the real ending.

Big spoilers

I hope all the deaths don't eventually put me off this game. Barbara. Ivy. This is a little too dark for an arkham batman game for me.

[SUP][/SUP]Welp... I finished the game. Here are my thoughts about the Arkham Knight.

Jason Todd was the first choice as soon as Gamestop announced the exclusive story pack. It was the obvious choice from the get go and they went that route, somewhat upset about this. Fun game, but the more and more it progressed the more it became clear that Jason Todd was the arkham knight

I wont mention who the Arkham Knight is in this post, this is just who I thought would be a better choice as him and how it could have been set up

Honestly, the Arkham universe is set in a different Batman universe, it still follows a rough lose path of the Bats mythos but to me the game changer, the way it could have broken itself away from any batman story ever is by having the Arkham Knight be....

Thomas Wayne aka Bruce Waynes Dad.

Lets say he lived, survived that gunshot wound. He would be taken to his own hospital that he works at, feeling he failed his son bruce by letting his mother die, he would pretend he was dead and leave the city and the son that he loved. The years away would prove to wear on his mental state and one day he would discover Gothams savior... Batman from other news outlets reporting the legend of the dark knight. Thomas would follow the dark knight and would conclude that he was a poison to gotham city. All the super villains showed up right after Batman, he would think Batman would be the source of everything wrong with Gotham. He, still with connections to his secret bank accounts, would slowly amass the army seen in the game and would return to gotham. He visits the old batcaves under his house only to discover the batcave and that his son is batman. Fast forward to the end fight in the game against the Arkham Knight. He unveils himself to Bruce as his father. Brucce loses control, confused and starts asking questions only to be convinced the Arkham knight is his father. Bruce now must choose to save the city he spent most of his life defending by defeating his father he thought be dead or not have the guts to do it and take the punishment his father throughs at him all the while trying to convince his dad to stand down.....

Bruce chooses number 2 and realizes the one rule he has... must be broke to save gotham.

Bruce kills his dad to save the city.

Hangs up the suit.

End Game.

Some parts of this needs a bit more explaining so fill it in with your imagination.

The ending to this is pure **** I'm majorly disappointed.

Agreed. My idea, although super far out there would have been out of left field and probably the last possible choice, a real shocker. Sure it would upset many and be controversial, but still.... I think would have been better than what we got.

Disappointed with the ending but one thing I do like about the game is the little nods to arkham origins. The mentions of anarky, the crime scene simulator etc.

Arkham Origins is canon to this, and several villains from that game returns.

I'm indifferent about AO. I thin it's fine as it is, but I'd always rather play AA over and over again. My biggest issue with AO is the recycled gameplay and the fact that Batman met all the rouges in one fateful night. :slap

As for my feelings for the ending, I'd rather not divulge into it until a good number of folks have beaten it.

Has anyone found the Danny Elfman Batman theme in the game? It was credited in the end credits, I was like, "Where???".
