Has anyone found the Danny Elfman Batman theme in the game? It was credited in the end credits, I was like, "Where???".

Yup, you're right. I looked on YouTube and it's credited at the end (along with the 60s Batman TV show theme). Good catch.

Getting all the Riddler stuff is an eternity. I'll likely never be able to do it. Even with a guide it would take forever finding everything. Excellent game though.

BUT a huge mistake not including a bunch of combat challenge maps that's what we all love is the fighting. Only 4?! And can't play as the other characters on them?! Way lame

Supposely more challenge maps with us allowing to choose any character is coming via DLC which is bull!

Is there any confirmation of this? I just don't wanna get my hopes up and then find out it's not in...

You got the 66 skin and the 66 theme song, there's no doubt in my mind that the Burtonmobile is in it with the Elfman theme being included. You got two extra skins for the car to unlock.

Close to the end (i think) and there's definitely too much batmobile now. The pacing has been pretty uneven too. Hopefully the ending will make up for the uneven last two hours or so of the game.

Are you aiming to get the real ending? Or will that be on the second play through?

If they include the 89 Batmobile then they better have the 89 Batman skin to go with it!

Just gonna way in to add to the opinions: pretty disappointed. The absolute main thing I can say without spoilers is just way too much tank fights. It doesn't feel like Batman to me anymore. Regarding the plot
I could just see everything coming, and all I had was stubbornly hope that it wouldn't be like that. But it was just that easy. Todd doesn't feel at home in this at all to me. Was there a refference to him being beaten to death in Arkham in AA? Cause I've never heard that and I'm a pretty detailed fan of AA and AC. I'm on the opposite side of you Plkatty: I WISH Barbara had died, because why ****ing not? They can finally go into super non-continuity directions with this game. It's its own thing. It would've been an awesome shock imo. I did really love Ivy becoming an anti-hero.

But a lot of what was promised isn't there imo: All the rogues banning together? How? They're still all just separate side quests. Riddler having a bigger role? No, he had the exact same role as AC except the hostage was selina this time. Nothing about it impacted the story any more than he's done in every game. In fact it undermined what I thought was riddler's brilliant final moment of humiliation in AC. Harley? Penguin? Twoface? They're just seperate side missions, one to give some time to nightwing, who you can't actually be, just fight with a few times. And the same for Robin with harley. Two-face was cool because we got some more lore of him and it added to the guilttrip. But overall what they promised wasn't given at all imo. The city doesn't really feel alive to me. They say it's 5 times bigger but that's mainly just space. How is this game ACTUALLY bigger in content than Arkham City? It doesn't feel much bigger at all, it's way more predictable, and above all it comes after already having done 3 of these games.

Btw I also had the idea of AK being bruce's father but I canned that, it's too insanely counter continuity, and also doesn't make sense. I wish AK would've actually been a new character, a victim of AA. Also would've liked if it'd been Talia. Although I do like that her death seems to be final which keeps AC's ending strong. You could easily hide a women in that suit though. I also thought of damian but timewise that does not seem possible. There were a ton of options though. Jason Todd? Ugh, I didn't like AK's demeaner at all, he sounded petty, not like what I expected. Logical when you know the truth.

I think it's a good game I guess, I loved how they brought back joker, though I honestly was hoping for a jokerless batman world. But it definitely does not live up to what I wanted and DEFINITELY does not live up to the hype. Lastly, I think opening with 'this is how batman died' was a mistake. His (fake...) death would've had a way bigger impact had I not known anything about that. Now Knightfall was in the line of expectancy entirely.

AA 9.0
AC 8.5
AK 7.5
AO 6.5

Those are my ratings. Not a bad game, it has good stuff, but it's a far from what it could've been imo.

It's still my game of the year, but I expect that to change when Metal Gear Solid V drops. This'll most likely end up my second favorite game of the year.

My main issue with the game is RS pretty much removing epic Batman boss fights and instead giving us Batmobile boss fights.

I really don't have any prediction on how MGSV is going to be. But part of me worries it's going to be PW meets MGS4... we keep hearing critics all it PW 2.0... and that's not a good sign. Episodic missions in a console version of the series don't jive well with me. But I guess it works in the scope of a sandbox.

I hear ya!

I only got through them by sheer determination. I think what might have helped me a little was slowing down coming up to certain obstacles (like the giant screw/drill thingies whatever they are) and then boosting as much as I dared inbetween obstacles. The loops are a great place to continuously boost too. The other thing I did was turn the sound off as I found it a bit distracting/annoying in places (as very well The Riddler should be! :lol ).

A good solution for those drill bits (heh) is to use the drift function. Not only does it slow you down, and allow you to maneuver through them, but it also gives you a time bonus.

I must say, though, having completed a little over 60% of the game (total, as I'm going to try to go for the real ending, my first time around), I'm a little surprised by all of the ire the Batmobile has drawn. I'm, honestly, just as surprised that I like it so much, as I was pretty "meh" on it, to begin with, but I've found it a lot of fun to use. I'm loving the detective features, and Riddler challenges, this time around, as well. It really feels like they nailed that "be the Batman" thing they were going for. The most wanted missions are fantastic, and there are some serious "holy ****" moments, in the game, as well. All in all, I couldn't be happier.

I really liked the Batmobile earlier during the game, started to hate it during the climax of the story (ANOTHER dragged out sequence? Seriously?) but now that the story is over for me and after using it more for the Most Wanted missions, I like it just fine again.

My advice is to be patient, max out the Batmobile upgrades and take frequent breaks, there are DEFINITELY some infuriating and prolonged moments with the Batmobile that gets easier the second time around.

I maxed out the armor just in time, there's a section where I got ambushed by it seemed like more than a dozen tanks. I'll play a lot tonight and through the weekend and probably have it beat.
